Grasslands
Grasslands are large areas covered with grass. There are many kinds of grasslands around the world. They have different kinds of weather. Different kinds of plants and animals live in each one. Grasslands may be flat or have small hills. Some grasslands have a few trees. Grasslands have many different types of grasses; some grasses are short and some are very long. A blade of grass can be very thin or very wide. The type of grass that grows depends on how much it rains.
