The life in the past - small houses/ even thatched cottages

The life now - big houses, buildings

- means of transport: rudimentary/ go on - go by car, motorbike, even by plane. foot, ride horses, cows... - no electricity: paper fans, oil lamp/ do everything by hand

- electricity everywhere/ a lot of modern equipment

- Their life/ hard & poverty. / work hard/ all the time

- Their life/ wealthy & convenient. / work/ modern offices, buildings, schools, shops... / have more time for entertainment - they all go to school

- most of the children’s parents/ poor, no money / go to school. / stay at home/ work hard - traditional clothes/ even no enough clothes - market/ small/ poor./ far from their house/ go on foot/ ride horses/ uses carts... - children/ traditional games

- modern clothes & uniform - market/ big/ everything./ motorbikes, cars - a lot of modern games at home

Ex. 4: Tell your partner about the things you used to do last year & compare to those ones at present. Example: Last year, I used to get up late. Now I get up early and do the morning exercises...

Ex. 5: Write-it-up  Last year, A used to get up late. Now he/ she gets up early and does the morning exercises...

Homework 1. Rewrite the life in the past and now. 2. Write about what your partner used to do last year. 3. Prepare “Read – P41-42”.
