5 Essay: What is the importance of the events of Easter Sunday to us as Christians? Explain in 2-3 sentences. By Jesus’ resurrection, God fulfilled His promise of a Savior who will free us from sin and death. Jesus’ rising from the dead is the surest sign that He is the Messiah. We believe that one day God will also raise us as He raised Jesus.
