God loves us all and wants the best for all people. 1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Jesus was God enfleshed or Emmanuel (God with us). Matthew 1:21-23 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. If your not of his sheep and taken his name on by belief and baptism, (Mark 16:16) then your none of his. Romans 8:9 ... Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. He gain the spirit or put on Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:27) in our baptism into the death, burial, and rising of Christ (Romans 6:4). Now above all things God wants us to prosper. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. And though it rains upon the just and unjust alike; God often times sent prosperity and power to his servants. Each time he did so was for his Holy purposes. At times we all have repeated Psalm 118:25. Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. Joesph (who could interpret dreams) was sent ahead of his brothers and trained and molded in leadership roles by Potiphar, prison, and finally by Pharaoh (Genesis chapters 39-41). He secured the well being of his brothers, his family, and the whole family of Israel by his royal position. He forgave his brothers who sold him for envy into slavery (Their father made him a coat of many colors and showed him special favor.) because God showed him the good it brought all by it (Romans 8:28). And another favored man was Job who was upright before God. He also was very rich and Satan (Job chapters 1-2) said to God that Job served him only because of those riches and because of God's protective hand upon him. After Satan was given permission by God to eliminate his children and worldly goods, he then said again that Job only served him still since he went unaffected (As Satan destroyed everything in his life except him and his wife.) or for self interest. Thereby, God allowed the Devil to personally afflict but not kill Job. After this his wife and friends tested him and Job in the end (He stood the test and though imperfect at times remained true to God and his purposes.) was awarded twice as much as before and a beautiful family again. Finally, Esther was made a favorite queen by king Ahasuerus and she secured the freedom and lives of her Jewish people. She saved her people from a type of Satan or Antichrist named Haman. God placed Esther in that position for just such a time. There is no doubt that God will supply all our need through his riches in glory via Christ Jesus (Phillipians 4:19) our Lord, who is the Savior of all mankind and especially of the brethren. King David wrote this in Psalm 37:25. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Riches, power, and position are to whom it is appointed. Matthew 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. 1 Corinthians 12: 2730 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? There was only one Samson (The physically strongest man ever recorded in Judges chapters 14-16. He gained his power by the indwelling Holy Spirit which was imparted upon him. And he had a angel visit his parents and he and his parents entered into a special covenant or agreement with God, the one of the Nazarene.) and one king Solomon (Who was the wisest man ever to live, he was granted extra wisdom again by the spirit of God. Even so he backslid and died in disobedience. Some may contest his title as wisest ever as he walked foolishly enticed by lusts, in his final

days. His story is in 1 Kings chapters 3-11.) We read in Luke 16:19-31 about a poor man who had sores and begged for food. This was Lazarus who died and went to Abraham's bosom while his counterpart the rich man, died being sent to torments. God loved Lazarus as much as Abraham (Who was rich). God shows no respect or special favor to men who are rich in earthly goods or positions. Acts 10:3435 ...God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. The world looks outwardly but God looks upon the heart or inwardly. James says this of all outward favoritism. James 2:2-4 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay (The meaning here is bright, happy, or rich clothes.) clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? In fact riches often impede Christians or lost men and women from trusting in God instead of uncertain riches. Matthew 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Most Bible scholars believe that the eye of the needle was a narrow gate to the side of the main gate into the city. Yet, some say the word was mistranslated and means rope instead. A rope in the eye of the surgeon's needle was the smallest opening. And was an impossible situation. Either way, Yeshuah or Jesus was pointing out that riches are not to be served instead of God but are to be used for his glory. We look at the temporary things while God the eternal ones. If you gained the whole world (Which was offered by Satan to Jesus who rejected it and all the coming kingdoms in Matthew chapter 4. He was sent into the world or wilderness to be tempted after his baptism.) and lost your eternal soul and salvation, what profit would it of been? Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? All would of been but in vain. Solomon said this though he had it all. Ecclesiastes. 1:1-2 and 16. The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge. Many people are like Baruch. Jeremiah 45:1-5 The word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying, Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, unto thee, O Baruch; Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the Lord hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest. Thus shalt thou say unto him, The Lord saith thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land. And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the Lord: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest. Instead of seeking worldly riches we are advised by Jesus to seek spiritual riches, as this world will end one day soon. Revelations 3:17-22 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Lastly this verse of moderation in Proverbs 30:7-9. Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither

poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. All things come from God and he already knows what we need even before we ask it from him. It is his good pleasure to give us all things one day. If the whole church wanted and were to preach, there would be no audience to hear the Gospel message. If all wanted to be ushers and greet the visiting guests, you would have a mob scene of people rushing to greet them. 1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order. Whatever you have whether great or little use it now for his glory and he will bless it and multiply it in due time. Remember the parable of the Sower and the Talents. Let us not dwell upon temporal riches but may God grant all believers great grace, blessings, and wisdom; now and eternally, for his kingdom and name sake.
