Welcome to Global Studies!
Ms. LaNoce
In this class we will be examining history from the beginning of time up until today. We will do many different projects and activities that will make the class fun and interesting. I will use the SmartBoard to show pictures, give notes and show video clips of important historical events. As students you will be responsible for your own success. I will do everything I can to make the classes interesting and I expect that you will do the same. This includes: Being respectful of others Raising your hand Talking at appropriate times Participating in discussions Keeping an open mind Being on time for class Coming to class prepared (notebook and something to write with)
You will be graded on the above expectations in your class participation grade. You will also receive grades for homework, quizzes, tests and projects. I know that this will be a very successful year and I look forward to getting to know all of you!
