Giving From the Heart 2008 Adopting a family for the holidays through the Probation Community Action Association’s (PCAA) “Giving From The Heart” program has been a successful project within our community for several years. Last Christmas, 75 families in Orange County were adopted and more than 1,000 individuals received holiday toys or gifts through the generous support of community members such as you.

Ways you can help this Christmas season There are several ways that corporations, individuals, families, groups, faith organizations and service clubs can get involved: Gift cards to grocery stores, WalMart, Target etc., allows our parents to select gifts and needed items for the family. Host a gift card party to benefit our families this holdiay season ($20 minimum please). Adopt one or more families for the holidays. We will provide you with a family’s wish list and PCAA will arrange to pick up your donations and deliver them directly to families, or donors may drop off gifts at a Probation Youth Center. Donate new, age-appropriate toys or cosmetics/personal hygiene items for teens. To adopt a family, a donation of $275 is appreciated, however, a donation of any size will be combined to adopt families. Any donation will give a family a wonderful Christmas.
