SHOW SOLIDARITY TO FLOOD VICTIMS…..
An amount of $87,000 realized at a fund raising rally organized in Tema to support the victims of last years Northern Ghana flood. It was organized by the St. John Bosco Old Student Union(SJBOSU) in collaboration with the Ghana Chief Imams, the Tema municipal assembly among others. In a welcome address, John Kushiator a member of the St John Bosco Old Students Union(SJBOSU) said northerners are one people with a common destiny and should work together to develop the region holistically. He added that it was sad to see people suffering in homeless condition and without food. He also explained without giving ,there will be rampant suffering in the region. Mrs. Beatrice Ziem appealed to the northerners to do away with conflict and live in peace urging them to combat illiteracy by ensuring that their children were fully educated. Mr. Fiifi Duncan Williams, a high court judge, advised that northerners in particular should, take education seriously since it’s the only sector that determines the development and growth of every nation.
