DRILLING CURVE

2(

Premier Oil & Gas, Inc. Church Ranch # 1W

SUMMARY Premier Oil & Gas drilled the Church Ranch # 1W to 9540' rig 1D. The well is being prepared for running production casing and for completion in the Niobrara Formation and Codell Sandstone. Evaluation included samples, computerized drilling time, and CCD/TCD total gas and chromatography. No open hole logs were run due to hole conditions but cased hole logging is planned. There were no cores or DSTs. Prospect Both structurally and stratigraphically trapped oil and gas may be found in the prospect. Possible pay zones include the Permian Lyons Sandstone; Lower Cretaceous Dakota and Muddy 'T' Sandstones; and Upper Cretaceous Codell Sandstone, Fort Hays Limestone, Niobrara Formation, and perhaps fractured Pierre Shale. The well is located at Rocky Flats halfway between Boulder and Golden, west of the axis of the Denver Basin, near steeply dipping beds of the Colorado Front Range. Faulted formations were anticipated after Lower Niobrara and Fort Hays Limestone were found repeated in the nearby Provide Energy State 16-4 #1. Fractures may enhance production in some reservoirs. Drilling Surface casing was set at 1173' KB. The first survey taken below surface casing showed hole inclination at 16.8 degrees, azimuth almost due west. The hole was drilled with directional tools below surface casing to return the hole to vertical; substantial sliding thereafter was required to control hole deviation. The extensive sliding required to drill the hole indicates substantial structural dip in the subsurface. Dips up to 38 deg have been inferred from drilled thickness/true thickness ratios. Cones from the drill bit were lost down hole after penetrating the uppermost 'T' Sandstone. While attempting to mill the cones, the drill string became stuck. The pipe was worked loose with the addition of oil to the mud. Concerns about hole conditions led to the decision to stop milling/fishing and to forego open hole logs. Pierre Shale No significant shows or fracturing were found in the Pierre Shale. Chromatography shows gas gradually changes from CI (methane) only in the upper Pierre Shale to CI through C4 (methane through butane) in the lower Pierre Shale. Starting at 7400' crude oil was added to the mud system to lubricate the hole. This raised background gas and temporarily masked all but very strong shows of new hydrocarbons. Niobrara Formation, Ft. Hays Limestone Member of the Niobrara Formation, and Codell Sandstone The Niobrara Formation produced the most significant show in the well, characterized by a prolonged gas increase of up to 8458 units, good cut fluorescence, and abundant calcite fracture fill. Euhedral calcite crystals indicate crystal growth in open fractures. Asphaltic black oil blobs were observed on fracture faces, as were also observed as part of a strong show in fractured Fort Hays Limestone at the Provide Energy State 16-4 # 1. All connectionsmadeafterthe Niobrarashowproducedhighconnectiongas, 2595to 8466 units, persistentto 1D. In contrast, the Fort Hays Limestone at the Church Ranch # 1W displayed only trace oil-stained fractures. The Codell Sandstone merits a completion attempt because it is a widespread producer in the basin. "J" Sandstone Only the upper portion of the 'T' Sandstone was penetrated. No cut fluorescence was observed in samples but a fair increase in gas (from 800 unitsoackground to 1200 units) was observed. Cuttings indicate dean sandstone but visual porosity is low. The lower "Y', the Dakota Sandstone, and the Lyons Sandstone remain untested.

LITHOLOGY AND SHOWS

The following descriptions are interpretive. The geologist and mud logger collected lagged 50-ft samples starting at 1200' and 30-ft samples 8200' - TO. Sample quality was good. Grain size was determined by use of the American Stratigraphic Company comparator. Colors of dry cuttings were determined from the Rock-Color Chart distributed by the Geological Society of America. 10% HCI was used in acid reaction tests. Cut tcsts for hydrocarbons wcrc performed with trichloroethylene. Significant shows arc marked in the left margin; lesser indications of hydrocarbons are contained in sample descriptions. Samples were examined for fluorescence with a Corvascope. Surface casing:
