Out this weekend

Gandhi My Father (PG) (Feroze Khan, 2007, India) Akshaye Khanna, Bhoomika Chawla. 128 mins. Can there really be a dark side to Gandhi? Dickie Attenborough's luvvie-stuffed epic might have put India's founding father on a pedestal but there's not much myth-making going on here, and perhaps some controversy baiting. It focuses on Harilal Gandhi, the neglected eldest son, who rebelled against his father and led a tragic, alcoholic, short-lived life.
