Application for Funding - Georgia Flooded Farms Relief Fund The Georgia Flooded Farms Relief Fund was established by Slow Food Atlanta to assist small, sustainable and organic farms that suffered damage during the September 2009 floods. Our mission is to help farmers recover from their flood losses by providing funding, volunteers, and equipment as needed. Slow Food Atlanta believes that everyone has a right to enjoy good, clean and fair food. We believe the food we eat should taste good, that it should be produced in an earth-friendly manner, and that food producers should receive fair compensation for their work.
