The 70th Week of Daniel’s 70 weeks is a seven-year period, which begins with the agreement between the prince who is to come, a descendent of the Roman armies, and Israel allowing the Jewish Temple to be rebuilt. Daniel 9:25-27

----- The Covenant of Death Begins Daniel's 70 Week ------ -------------------------------------------------- ONE SEVEN = 7 YEARS = 84 MONTHS = 2520 DAYS ---------------------------------------- The Bible indicates that the spirit of the Antichrist (that which opposes everything that is called God or is worshiped) will flourish as a forerunner to the arrival of the lawless one (the last Antichrist figure of history). Throughout the past there have been numerous antichrist figures such as Hitler, Mussolini, Napoleon, Nero and Nebuchadnezzar to name a few. This spirit has been infecting and affecting humanity since it first came into being in the Garden of Eden. The antichrist figures of the past and the final one yet to come are simply the physical manifestations of a spiritual battle which has been ongoing since the Fall of Man and will continue until God, in His time, puts an end to the same. In order to sign the seven year covenant with Israel, allowing the temple to be rebuilt and sacrifices to be resumed the final Antichrist will have to be a political figure on the scene well before this takes place. In all likelihood he will be a well respected man who is able to beguile the participants of the covenant into a state of peace that heretofore has been impossible to achieve. This figure will know who he is at this time, but will not be empowered to carry out his mission by Satan until his time has come. His rise to join the ranks of humanity is outlined in Revelation and Daniel. Just what other avenues of endevour he undertakes during the first 3.5 years of Daniel's70th week are not clearly stated but his secretive long range plans are quite clear. However, one thing is for sure, he is a wolf in sheep's clothing set on conquering the world, destroying the saints and seeking the worship that is only befitting God.
