FUTURE TENSE Types: •

FUTURE SIMPLE TENSE

• FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE • FUTURE PERFECT TENSE • FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE: That is to be or come hereafter; that will exist at any time after the present; as, the next moment is future.

FORMULA: 1st Form of Verb + shall, will Example:1. Simple: She will like it. 2. Negative: She won’t like it. 3. Interrogative: Will she like it? Paragraph: I will get up early in the morning. I will go for a morning walk. I will eat my break fast and I will go to college. When I will come back, my mother will start preparing lunch. After eating my lunch I will sleep for a couple of hours. I will wake up when my friends will come over. Then we will play cricket for an hour. I will go home and start studying. I will complete my home work and watch television for an hour. Then I will eat my dinner with my family. After dinner I will go for a walk with my father.

FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE: The Future continuous is used for actions that will be unfinished at a certain time in the future, or for things that will happen in the normal course of events, rather than being part of your plans and intentions.

FORMULA: 1st Form of Verb + will be, shall be + ing Example:1. Simple: Ahmed will be working on this report.

2. Negative: Ahmed will not be working on the report.

3. Interrogative: Will Ahmed be working on the report?

Paragraph: I will be getting up early in the morning. I will be going for a morning walk. I will be eating my break fast and I will go to college. When I will be coming back, my mother will be start preparing lunch. After eating my lunch I will be sleeping for a couple of hours. I will be waking up when my friends will be coming over. Then we will be playing cricket then I will be going home and start studying. I will be completing my homework and watching television for an hour. Then I will be eating my dinner with my family. After dinner I will be going for a walk with my father. 2

FUTURE PERFECT TENSE: A future perfect tense used to describe action that will be completed in the future.

FORMULA: 3rd Form of Verb + will, shall + have Example:Simple: I will have finished my work. Negative: I will not have finished my work. Interrogative: Will I have finished my work? Paragraph:

I will have wakened up early in the morning. I will have gone for a morning walk. I will have eaten my breakfast and I will have gone to my college. When I will have come back, my mother will have started preparing lunch. After eating my lunch I will have slept for a couple of hours. I will have wakened up when my friends would have come over. Then we would have played cricket for an hour. I would have gone home and started studying. I will have completed my home work and watched television for an hour. Then I would have eaten my dinner with my family. After dinner I would have gone for a walk with my father.

FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE: The future perfect continuous is used for actions that will be unfinished, but have reached a certain stage.

FORMULA: WILL + HAVE + BEEN + ING

Example:Simple: . This time next month, I'll have been living here for three years. Negative: This time next month, I will have not been living here for three years. Interrogative: Will I have been this time next month, living here for three years? Paragraph: I will have been waking up early in the morning. I will have been going for a morning walk. I will have been eating my breakfast and I will have been going to my college. When I would have come back, my mother would have started preparing lunch. After eating my lunch I will have been sleeping for a couple of hours. I will have been wakened up when my friends would have come over. Then we would have played cricket for an hour. I would have gone home and started studying. I would have been completed my home work and watched television for an hour. After dinner I would have been going for a walk with my father.
