Fundraising Letter Sample

Dear Mr. Sandoval,

Just as your commercials advertise, "Fingerlicking good," your chicken whether fried or grilled is temptingly delicious. And KFC chicken meals are welcome either for lunch or dinner. Many of us in the Pasig Area enjoy the food you serve, so that's why we thought of KFC in connection with our forthcoming Tribute to Senior Citizens on October 14, 2009.

Youth club of Greenwoods, a nonprofit community youth group is sponsoring for 75 less fortunate senior citizens to our Plaza--serve them lunch and render them classic and old Filipino music and entertainment.

YCG is financed solely through donations and contributions from community members so our budget is limited. In order to pay tribute to our Senior Citizens through delicious and nutritious lunch, we are asking manufacturers like you to donate sufficient quantities of their food products. Would you be able to send us 15 boxes of chicken meals to help bring joy and honor to the lives of these individuals on the day of the tribute?

Special thanks will be given to KFC in our subdivision newsletter distributed to over 500 families in Greenwoods. Your contribution is tax-deductable.

May we count on you to pep up the day of tribute to our 50 less fortunate citizens? I would appreciate your answer by June 17 so we can finalize our menu plans.
