Fun By; Destinee Crismon The three of us were sitting around the smoldering campfire when all of a sudden a twig snapped in the woods behind us. “What was that?” Casey screamed. “It’s just an animal relax.” Josh said apparently with no concern. “I’m going to be right back.” I assured them. I left my friends behind. “Where do you think Jennie went?” Josh asked. “I hope what ever is out there doesn’t get her.” Casey’s worried expression gave away the unimaginable horrors that could have bestowed upon me. “Nothing’s out there Casey. You’re just imagining things.” Josh said making every syllable pop. “Oh my Gosh!” Casey creamed. “I swear I just saw a shadow move!” Casey exclaimed even louder than her screams. “Shut up Casey!” Josh yelled. “Do you seriously want me to go out there and prove to you that nothing’s out there? ‘Cause I will.” Josh said all in one breath. “No…um, I don’t know.” Casey whispered. “Okay you leave me no choice, give me the flashlight. I’m going to show you that there is nothing out there.” Josh motioned for the flashlight, but when Casey looked behind her it was gone. “I don’t know where it’s at. We must have left it in the car.” Casey said timidly. “Okay I’ll go get it. B.r.b.” Josh took off into the woods. Josh was a fast walker but not as fast as me. I would catch up with him then I would hide behind a tree, until I reached it. I pulled once, it died, a gasp. Good. “Hello?” Josh asked just above a whisper. I pulled again it sprang to life, yes. But there was one problem, he started to run. The good thing was he headed towards camp. So I tried to muffle the sound by putting the cover and my aeropostle sweatshirt over the engine. Meanwhile off in the distance. “Okay grab your stuff and let’s go there’s a chain saw massacre dude out in the woods and I don’t know if he’s really friendly. But seriously who would be chopping trees at ten o’clock at night?” Josh was starting to hallucinate. “Josh, calm down it’s probably old man Jenkins. He’s crazier than a loon, sit down. I finally came at peace with nature.” Casey said full of air. “Are you high? Seriously there isn’t a house near us in a ten mile radius!” Josh started to pick up his things then he heard another twig snap. “Oh my gosh! Run!” Josh started to take a step but it was too late. I pushed him into the fire, grabbed my chain saw and went after Casey. She was in shock so it was an easy hit. I sliced her head off in one smooth movement. While fire fighter boy here was trying to stop, drop and roll in the fire. I kicked him out and watched him burn while listening to his screams carry off into the distance. Then after he stopped moving I grabbed my cursed chain saw that destroyed my beloved friends and chopped my head off.
