I’ve always enjoyed attending classes, especially computer science- it’s been my favourite for quite some time now. I think it’s because our professor genuinely boosts student morale and encourages us to be involved in the process of learning, not simply be a monotonous recipient of information. There are times when I want to bunk school and even do so since I’m aware I can catch up using the educational and learning material dispensable online. But… at times like these, I can’t help but recall all the fun activities, group projects and debates happening in class. And times like these motivate me to attend school. Teachers don’t simply robotically deliver information, they guide the process of learning. They make students feel a part of this class, they carry the responsibility to ensure each student participates in class. Personally, I can’t imagine a classroom without a professor.
