Dr. Steve Johnson, U of C Denver ID Clinic As we end this decade and begin the new one ….. ….. “Where are we at?” and “Where are we going?” Dr Johnson will give us an interesting and informative look at TEN “hot” topics/questions in HIV care and research. These include infection prevalence, diagnosing, HAART as transmission reduction, starting drug therapy, regimens and sequencing them, new treatments, effectiveness of HAART, new drugs to be approved, other medical issues to monitor, and optimizing care.
