For Handwriting This Term We Have Been Learning To: Years 5 -8: Write letter and number forms legibly to present ideas and include fluent Handwriting for effective presentation (Achievement Objective 1, Level 3,4). Our Success Criteria: I (The Teacher) would know if the children have achieved these Objectives when they could show: Consistent Slope, Shape, Size, Style, and Speed of the letter forms and for some of the children, showing consistently correct linking of the letters. Assessment of the Success Criteria: Marking Process: • The children would bring their books for grading. A total mark out of 100% is given. • Anything over 90% is a pass grade. • This is given when all of the success criteria is seen as consistent. • Where there is one area in need of work – this area would be circled on a sticker • This would then be the focus for the next session.
