GENERAL GUIDELINES A camp T-shirt will be provided to each participant. Participants must wear the camp T-shirt, shorts, and football spikes or tennis shoes to camp each day. If spikes are worn, please bring tennis shoes in case of rain, as the camp will be moved indoors to the gym area (no spikes are allowed on the gym floor). No other equipment is necessary as this is not a full-contact camp (emphasis will be on developing and improving basic football fundamentals). Water/sports drink will be provided to the participants each day at camp. Please have the participating child at the field 15 minutes prior to the start of camp each day. No child may be “dropped off” and left. Please make arrangements to have someone at the field during the entire camp to supervise your child if you cannot be there. The coaches and football players from Allegany High School are there as instructors only. They will not assume responsibility for your child before camp, during camp breaks, or after camp! All participants should come to camp each day prepared to learn and ready to have fun! This means no talking while the instructors are talking, no fighting, etc. No disrespect from/among participants will be tolerated. All participants will be treated fairly, equally, and respectfully. Cooperation from everyone will guarantee a fun, memorable, successful camp experience! Please mail the accompanying Registration form with check made payable to Allegany Grid Iron Club.
