Flank Steak Teriyaki Ingredients: ¾ cup vegetable oil ¼ cup soy sauce ¼ cup honey 2 T. vinegar 2 T. chopped green onions 1 large clove garlic, chopped 1 ½ tsp. ground ginger 1 ½ lb. flank steak Combine oil, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, onions, garlic and ginger for marinade. Place flank steak in a shallow glass container and pour marinade mixture over it. Marinate steak at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Remove from marinade and place on grill over medium-high heat. Cook for 7 minutes; turn over and cook additional 5 – 10 minutes depending on preferred pinkness. Carve steak into thin slices at a 3045° angle for maximum tenderness. Serves 4 – 6. (Trial and error, 45 degree usually works better, but depends on thickness of steak).
