Matching
Reasoning: assessing the important aspects of the unit, fewer than 10 responses, used perfect matching to avoid confusion.
Demonstration/Performance Students will demonstrate counting by counting the touch points on each number, counting the doubles in the correct order.
Reasoning: linked very closely to teaching activities, requiring students to demonstrate skill, task is realistic, and it is adapted for non-verbal students.
Multiple Choice
Reasoning: direct questioning, includes fine motor work, only one correct answer, and it is engaging/motivating.

Goal My goal for my students is to have a foundational understanding of numbers 0-9 so that they can learn other functional life skills that involve the use of numbers.
