FILTERED TANK VENTS -10µm NOMINAL RATING -

Protect your diesel fuel system from the damaging effects of airborne particle contamination. Heavy equipment typically operates in dusty, dirty conditions. A generic Quick-Fill tank vent has no means of preventing airborne contamination entering a tank, unlike the Banlaw Filtered Vent which comes with a serviceable air filter within the vent cap. This filter protects against particles entering the tank via the vent, and thus entering the fuel system of the equipment. The service life of OEM fuel filters is extended, reducing the risk of blocked filters and equipment downtime.

BENEFITS OF BANLAW FILTERED VENTS • Flexible Vent Solutions

• High Quality Filter Element

Banlaw offers a flexible and complete range of vents for all applications and O.E.M's.

1O µm nominal rating - triple layer multi density foam - excellent chemical resistance - positive seal between mating surfaces - field serviceable - high flow capability with low restriction - high retention capacity & extended service life

• Faster Refuelling Creating LOW restriction to exhaust air, a single vent will cater for < 800LPM refuelling rates!

• Rugged Construction Built for the rugged mining environment from cast aluminium - NOT plastic!

• No Spill The Banlaw patented splash tube ensures the correct operation of the float balls at all times. Features: • Suitable for flat or round top fuel tanks. • Vapour relief pressure approximately :110 kPa (Red cap) and 49kPa (Green cap) • 3/4" N.B. throughout • 1/16" bleed hole • Splash tube (except on Rail spec vents) • "A" Series has 2" NPT male taper threads • 'O' Ring seals provide reliable & extended service • Relief valve exhaust bypasses filter element

Flowrate (LPM) * DATA OBTAINED USING ISO68 HYDRAULIC OIL @ 40-45ºC. IMPORTANT: DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE WILL VARY HANDLING A FLUID WITH A DIFFERENT VISCOSITY. DATA INDICATES FLUID FLOW FROM NOZZLE TO RECEIVER. RESULTS MAY VARY SLIGHTLY UNDER REVERSE FLOW. TESTS CONDUCTED BY CCI ENGINEERING, NEWCASTLE, AUSTRALIA DURING APRIL 2004.
