When packaging designers want new options for protecting and showcasing their products, they turn to the versatile family of EXACTTM Plastomers. That’s because EXACT Plastomers deliver an exceptional combination of sealing, hot-tack strength, toughness and value-added properties. These properties allow for significant puncture resistance, excellent cold temperature performance and a high oxygen transmission rate for fresh produce packaging. Additional properties can increase packaging line speeds and optimize performance. With a broad FDA clearance, EXACT Plastomers are produced exclusively using ExxonMobil Chemical’s ExxpolTM catalyst and process technology. Outstanding Seal Performance For sealability, EXACT Plastomers outperform EVAs, LLDPEs, even ionomers – the best premium-priced materials in form, fill and seal lines. Thanks to low melting points, low seal-initiation temperatures and high hot-tack strength, packaging designers can take advantage of a broad sealing range for fast line speeds and outstanding seal performance, including seal-through contamination.

Tough Performance EXACTTM Plastomers deliver outstanding tensile strength and dart puncture performance up to several times that of conventional LLDPE films. They also can be used as a property enhancer in blends with LLDPE or post-consumer recycle HDPE.
