QUESTIONNAIRE FOR THE FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSIONS Focus Group discussion with group of respondents will be conducted in the survey sites to highlight and disclose those information/views of the target group that are not addressed during the questionnaire survey. Following questions will be raised among different target groups. FOR STUDENTS 1. What type of skill will be developed after you learn using computer? 2. At what extent you feel the necessity of computer in your student life? 3. What sorts of future career options would be created by computer? 4. What types of interest and expectations could be fulfilled through computer education? 5. What are the problems faced by the rural students in using computer? 6. What types of computer based education materials should be provided for the students? 7. What other information and information technology are important for students? 8. What are the difference between using computer and radio? 9. If you found problem using the computer how will you solve it?. FOR TEACHERS 10. What types of benefits will you get after taking computer trainings? 11. Could compute become a tool to built your capacity/skills ? 12. What types of technology and technicians are needed to develop information and communication in the rural areas? 13. How computer can help rural teachers to get/develop teaching materials? 14. What types of teaching materials do you expect from computer? 15. In what extent and how your confidence will be developed after taking computer training? 16. What types of changes would you feel after learning computer and using it for teaching purposes? 17. After getting computer training could you develop digital content as per the necessity of your village/locality? 18. What other alternative options (livelihood) do you see after learning computer technology? 19. How we can solve the language problem in using computer? 20. Which social class in the community have greater access in the computer? 21. Whose and what would be the roles and responsibilities to increase wider number of community people in using computer services. 22. What types of computer based activities (of telecenter) will best address the problem of different people in the community. FOR FARMERS 23. How we can understand the relation between farmers and computer? 24. Computer is only for educated people? 25. If you find difficulties on using computer due to the language, what would be your interest/response if became available in Nepali language? 43. What types of words should be used to make Nepalese women more familiar and use to with computer and its applications? 44. Do you believe computer will be very helpful to manage saving-credit and problem gathering activities of mothers groups? 45. What type of skill will be developed after you learn using computer? 46.
