Parts of a sentence Today
we will look at three main parts of a sentence Subject ( who or what does the action) Object ( to who or to what the action is done to) Verb (the Action) My

Basic Sentence structure With an object: Object + Subject + Verb I have a green shirt Shirt green I have
Working on Present, Future and Past Tense
Present tense Pronoun + verb Ex: I work I also can use words such as now or today These words can be used at the beginning or end of the sentence. ( I prefer to use time indicators at the beginning of the sentence) Eg: Today I work
Put into the present tense I
have a blue hat

need plad skirt

lost my gloves

Past tense Use
a tense indicator ( a word that establishes past tense) Such as: Before / Past/ Used to Yesterday, two days ago…etc Recently, Long-ago These words can come at the beginning or end of a sentence (Again, I prefer to use them at the beginning)

Time sign + subject ( subject is the person doing the action) + verb + object
Using the sign “Finish” Finish
( also means already or when you want someone to stop something) Shows that an action has been completed Can appear before or after the noun I already saw that movie ◦ I finish saw movie ◦ I saw-finish movie I
