The common chimpanzee, or chimp, is a species of ape. It has a strong body with long arms, short legs, and long, black hair. It doesn’t have a tail. Chimpanzees live in the rain forests and wet savannas of West and Central Africa. They spend a lot of time on the ground, but usually eat and sleep in trees.

Chimpanzees live in communities with 10 to over 100 individuals. Chimpanzees can climb trees and use tools. They also have a complex system of sounds to communicate with each other. Every morning, chimpanzees look for food. They start early and eat fruit, leaves, and flowers. Their diet consists of 80 different plants. Unfortunately, the future of the chimpanzee is uncertain. Deforestation and medical research are reducing their population. Our close animal relatives need our protection. WWW.OUTTOAFRICA .NL/ANIMALS/ENGCHIMPANZEE.HTML

His father educated him about crocodiles when he was very young. He could wrestle them when he was nine years old, and after he graduated from high school he dedicated his life to protecting them. In 1992, he started his TV series The Crocodile Hunter. His adventures captivated audiences everywhere. In 2006, he planned to make a new TV program at the Great Barrier Reef, but he tragically died from the poison of a stingray before he finished it. The astronauts will have to stay on the planet for about eighteen months before they can return to Earth. They will live in inflatable habitats. The astronauts will drive in a special vehicle to look for water and do
