FAREWELL Farewell , my sunshine. After you’ve gone, I will shed tears of sorrow. Knowing I will no longer Feel your warm breath, Or hear your laughter, Or bask in the soft caress Of your eyes. After you’ve gone, I will shed tears of quiet joy. Knowing my name will always Linger on your lips, My memory in the deepest recesses Of your soul, Your love for me present in your heart.
