False Prophecies Of The Watchtower.

IS THE WATCHTOWER SOCIETY A FALSE PROPHET?

& WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT FALSE PROPHETS?

It is one thing to claim to be something BUT it is another thing to prove it! Anyone can claim to be a prophet of YAHWEH GOD but unless they are able to prove that they are, then they are a false prophet! Many people throughout the millenia of time since the time of Moses have come claiming to be prophets of YAHWEH, (the God of Israel). We see examples of this as mentioned by the prophet Jeremiah in the Tanakh (The Old Testament). "A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love [to have it] so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?" - Jeremiah 5:30-31 "Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. -Jeremiah 14:13-14.(Before Israel`s captivity to Babylonian in 606B.C.). "I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall [this] be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, [they are] prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal." -Jeremiah 23:25-27. "[Is] not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer [that] breaketh the rock in pieces? Therefore, behold, I [am] against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. Behold, I [am] against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. Behold, I [am] against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness;

yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD." - Jeremiah 23:29-32.

What Is The Standard In The Tanakh (The Old Testament), By Which Prophets Were Judged True Or False? "But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, [but] the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him." - Deuteronomy 18:20-22. There you have it! The Torah is clear! It is so important not to listen to false prophets because false prophets: -....prophesy (predict & teach) lies; -....prophesy unto you a false vision & DIVINATION (witchcraft /bewitchment / deception), Please Note: Divination is one of the many occult practices which YAHWEH condemns in Deuteronomy 18:9-14 and is tantamount to calling upon a false `god.` -....prophesy LIES in the name of YAHWEH (or Jehovah), which is a violation of the third of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:7); -.... cause people to err from the truth & keep people from coming to the truth! Jesus Christ, Israel`s Messiah, the Saviour of the whole world said, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Matthew 7:15-20 The fruit of a fruit tree determines what type of tree it is. The fruit of an apple tree is apples. The fruit of an orange tree is oranges.

The fruit of a Christian is, "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." -(Read Galatians 5:22-23). • The fruit of a prophet is their prophesies, & ...... • Likewise, the fruit of a false prophet is false prophesy (even if it`s just one false prediction). If their predictions are false then their teachings also CANNOT BE TRUSTED! Remember: "When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, [but] the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him." Deuteronomy 18:22. And don`t forget it!!!!

Has The Watchtower Ever Claimed To be A Prophet? Included in this article I have pasted scanned photocopies of documents published by Charles Taze Russell (the founder of the Watchtower Society whose followers are called `Jehovah`s Witnesses`), as well as other articles published by the Watchtower since after the passing away of Charles Taze Russell. You are invited to approach this with an open mind, view it & to then judge for yourself. YAHWEH`s reputation is put on the line by anyone who claims to be a prophet! YAHWEH`s challenge to all of the false religions & `gods` is quite clear:

FIRSTLY LET`S LOOK AT DOCTRINAL SHIFTING

A classical mark of all false teachers is when they take a radicle position BUT then have Bible verses put on them that they can`t handle,... they then adjust their position, AND they keep adjusting their doctrinal position OR prophecies made, but without really changing all their allegiance . BEFORE AFTER Catholicism: -no man could get to heaven unless he kept the mass.

Catholicism: - Today however there are all kinds of explanations about that now. e.g./ Only if he doesn`t know he should always go.

-Protestants & other professing Christians who are not Roman Catholic in their doctrines are called heretics & alienated from God (lost).

-Protestants & other professing Christians who are not Roman Catholics are regarded as `Separated Brethren`.

-Purgatory

-Purgatory not really taught or enforced. since Vatican 2 Council.

- Not to eat red meat during lent.

-Abstaining from red meat during Lent, no longer compulsory since Vatican 2 Council.

-NOW they encourage people to read their own Catholic -The Bible was not to be read in the English language because `Bibles` & have their own `Bible` study groups in English. that was regarded as heresy (In England 1409A.D.). It had to be read in Latin. Only the `priest` could interpret scripture.

Charismatic: - You`re not saved unless you talk in tongues.

(This outward conformity lead to a split: Roman Catholic Orthodox vs `Born Again` Catholic). Charismatic: - Today it is "You get saved before you talk in tongues, and THEN you can talk in tongues.

-Loss of salvation (Arminian ism)

-Eternal Security.

- Extra `Revelation` equally inspired as scripture, through supposed `prophets` & `apostles`.

- No extra `revelation` & the Sufficiency of scripture. There are only apostles in he sense of Missionaries & church planters, & only prophets in the sense of teachers. Seventh Day Adventist: (BUT After being constantly bombarded with John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9 ) they now confess: -You are saved by grace through faith BUT you must keep the Sabbath to stay saved.

Seventh Day Adventist: -You have to keep the Sabbath to be Saved.

(BUT However after then being confronted with the Books of Romans & Galatians, they backed off again & then come back saying NO YOU DON`T KEEP THE SABBATH TO STAY SAVED, YOU KEEP IT BECAUSE YOU LOVE GOD & IF YOU LOVE GOD YOU WILL KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS). -Follows all the teachings of Ellen G White.

-No longer strictly follows all the teachings of Ellen G. White. There are even Sabbatarians that follow some of E.G.White`s teachings but now eat meat.

Mormonism: -Polygamist Marriage in the Mormon temple is necessary for salvation.

Mormonism (LDS) : -No Polygamist marriage practiced BUT marriage in the Mormon temple IS still essential for Mormon `salvation`. (BUT IS STILL PRACTICED BY FUNDAMENTALIST

MORMON GROUPS IN THE U.S.A. TODAY). -Black people are since 1974 accepted into the false -No Black person was accepted in to the so-called `Melchizadec priesthood. priesthood` (a Mormon missionary). -The Death penalty (so-called `blood atonement`) for anyone who deserted the religion & `testimony` of Joseph Smith & Bringham Young, e.t.c

-The Mormon version of `blood atonement` is not practices by the modern LDS cult. (BUT IS STILL PRACTICED BY FUNDAMENTALIST MORMON GROUPS IN THE U.S.A. TODAY).

Now back to the Question:

Has The Watchtower Ever Claimed To be A Prophet? The answer is a definate YES! I decided to use scanned exhibits so that I would not be falsely accused of misquoting them! (Remember this: "A characteristic of all liars is -they take a radical position & then when it is found & exposed to be false they adjust or water down their original position. Note the defensive subtle admitions /adjustments (underlined) in the exhibits below.

In the above three exhibits (scanned documents from their own literature) it is easy to read the scentences where the claim to be a prophet of YAHWEH (Jehovah) was repeatedly made by the Watchtower Organization a number of times.

The Watchtower in its publication AWAKE (8th October, 1968, on page 23) spoke of those who set dates for the end of the world. Dates which did not come to pass. It said that the ones who did so were guilty of false prophesying! SO IS THE WATCHTOWER (See the exhibit on this page). (Some examples given below).

In 1908 in the publication "The Time Is At Hand" by the Watchtower on pages 98-99 predicted that within 26 years (later) all the Governments existing (at least at that time) would be overthrown & dissolved & the full establishment of the Kingdom of God will be accomplished at the end of 1914 A.D. (See the above 3 pages exibited). Note also further false prophecies below.....

The Finnished Mystery, 1917 edition, pages 484 & 485 contains yet another. The churches of Christendom & the church members by the millions were not wiped out by 1918 A.D. The Downfall of `Christianity` did not happen in 1918 A.D.

Now, lets be realistic! Did all this really happen in 1925 ????????NOW I AM GOING TO SKIP MANY OTHER FALSE PROPHECIES THAT WERE MADE OVER THE YEARS. LETS

GO IN THE TIME MACHINE TO 1966 A.D. ONWARDS ....CONCERNING 1975 ANOTHER YEAR OF DOOM.

I remember what the Demtel man used to say. Now I`ll say it. "But wait there`s more!"

LETS SEE NOW... 90 MONTHS FROM MARCH 1968 SHOULD PLACE US IN ... OH.. ITS 1975 AGAIN!

`JEHOVAH`S WITNESSES` ALSO LOOKED FORWARD TO SOMETIME WITHIN 1975 A.D. AS "THE END" OF THE OLD SYSTEM OF THINGS & THE BEGINNING OF THE 1000 YEAR REIGN OF `CHRIST` ON EARTH.

THE WATCHTOWER DECIEVED HER FOLLOWERS INTO WORKING EXTRA HARD ON THE RECRUITMENT DRIVE. AFTER ALL IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN IN 1975 ... RIGHT? .. WRONG!

This quote is taken from the actual loose Watchtower. JANUARY 1ST 1989 "The apostle Paul was spearheading the Christian missionary activity. He was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our 20th century."

WE ARE NOW IN THE 21ST CENTURY. THE WATCHTOWER GOT IT WRONG AGAIN! A PROVEN FALSE PROPHET! THE WORK OF CHRISTIAN EVANGELISTS STILL GOES ON INTO THE 21ST CENTURY. UNFORTUNATELY RECRUITMENT DRIVES BY `JEHOVAH`S WITNESSES` ALSO CONTINUES TODAY THOUGH THEIR WATCHTOWER ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN REPEATEDLY PROVEN TO BE A FALSE PROPHET! THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE THEY LIKE TO SWEEP THINGS UNDER THE CARPET OR JUST PUT IT DOWN TO HUMAN ERROR, 7 THAT `TRUTH` GETS CLEARER WITH TIME BY MISQUOTING OUT OF CONTEXT PROVERBS 4:18 WHICH SAYS, "But the path of the just [is] as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day." IT IS APPARENT AS WE HAVE SEEN IN THE ABOVE EXHIBITS THAT IT IS REALLY PROVERBS 4:19 WHICH APPLIES TO THE WATCHTOWER & ALL OF ITS FOLLOWERS. "The way of the wicked [is] as darkness: they know not at what they stumble."- PROVERBS 4:19! A TRUE PROPHET, HOWEVER, SPOKE THE WORD OF GOD AND GOD`S WORD IS TRUTH! Do not fear or respect the Watchtower Organization, they are a proven false prophet organization run by false prophets / teachers practicing divination (Jeremiah 14:13-14), and just as the Roman Catholic heirarchy claimed that they alone have the truth & could interpret the truth of scripture, so does the Watchtower Society. Just as the Roman Catholic heirarchy teach that you cannot HAVE assurance of salvation, so does the Watchtower Society. Yet the Bible does teach that a person can have assurance of salvation & that comes by coming to the Lord Jesus Christ which the Bible teaches (not the wafer god false`Jesus` of Romanism nor the other false `Jesus` of the Watchtower.
