EXPRESSIONS OFTEN USED

When we want to express likes or dislikes we often use the verbs of feelings (love-enjoy-like-dislike-hate). These verbs are usually followed by the –ing form of the verb. There are also other expressions that can be used to express our feelings towards somebody or something like “be fond of” , “be keen on”, “be mad about”, “be interested in”. These are also followed by the –ing form of a verb. I love getting up late. She really enjoys cycling. My father is very fond of reading. I’m mad about going to the disco. I hate doing the washing-up.
