Public at i on Prop os a l; Personal (Archive) Archive The publication will be a collection or archive of each student personal archiives from throughout the semester. Each student has been required to hand in a total of six personal archive pieces over the semester. Through the archives each student was to explore and test their ideas and project. It allows for curiosity, thinking, connecting images, pieces of text and references to project ideas. The archive is a collection of things which inspired and developed projects over the course of the semester. Six hand-ins were required over the semester. This publication is to be made up of three personal archive enteries from each student in the class and also one page on their final design project from the semester. Each entery is to be accompanied by one sentence on why this image/text/particular reference made their own archive. The fourth page of each student’s contribution is left for a one page presentation of theire design studio project. The general idea is to gather things which have given inspiration to various people for various reasons in one book. And with three archive enteries from eachh student, the one page on the design project acts as the result of their archive.
“It looked as if it were painted like an advertisement on a board on the roadside and indeed very poorly painted. It looked completely false and unconvincing”
