Euroducks International is a private non-profit foundation aiming at the protection, conservation and restoration of wetland habitats on the migratory route of European migratory water birds. Euroducks International initiates and supports studies and measures that help reach its above mentioned objective. Geographical areas of activity spreads all over the Western Palaearctic: from the Ural Mountains to the Atlantic coast, from Spitzbergen in the north, to the Gulf of Guinea in the South. Priority areas of activity are the Iberian Peninsula, Anatolia region (Turkey) and Western Sahara. Euroducks International was created in Aarau (Switzerland) in 1988. The headquarters lie in Brussels (Belgium) since 1995. The president of the foundation is Baron Boudouin della Faille (Belgium). The national associations of Euroducks International are established in Spain, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Portugal and Finland.
