A twelve-strand braided rope of Dyneema® SK-60 fiber with our proprietary Samthane™ coating. ®

AmSteel is a non-rotational rope that yields extremely high strength and low stretch; equivalent to wire rope with one-seventh the weight. In addition, the product is flexible, spliceable and resists flex-fatigue and abrasion.

Samson Rope Technologies provides quality cordage products for the marine and industrial categories for Europe and the UK. Samson is capable of testing ropes according to any international standard, including EN919, Cordage Institute Specifications, or US military standard. Upon request, Samson can provide results and/or specifications based on these test standards. (It should be noted that specifications provided based on any test method other than SRT Test Method-001, may differ from what is published in SRT literature.) - Tests were conducted under normal laboratory conditions. - Ropes were cycled 10 times at 50% of published average breaking strengths. - Ropes were tested with spliced terminations.

Two key components of quality assurance are plant-wide ISO 9001-2000 certification and product testing facilities. CERTIFICATION: Samson was one of the first US rope manufacturers to receive ISO 9001-2000 certification. All three Samson manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001-2000 certified, testimony to our commitment to quality and industry leadership. TESTING CAPABILITY: Routine inspection, computerized production documents and individual manufacturing specifications for all products help ensure the highest level of quality throughout the production phase. Because our plants are equipped with the necessary equipment, we are able to audit and verify product quality throughout the production process. Our quality assurance processes include: • Integrated product development and production software that translates engineering specifications into production orders for manufacturing. • Specialized production documents for processing high modulus fibers. • Standardized procedures for inspection, analysis and testing of in-process product as well as finished goods. • Individual specifications for all products.
