The Equipment Update Report is a compilation of Metro scheduled bus and rail vehicle requirements by line and includes vehicles operated for Metro under contract with First Transit, Southland Transit, and Veolia Transportation for the December 14, 2008 Service Change. The above information can be found in the following worksheets: o Metro Bus Requirements - Weekday, Saturday and Sunday bus requirements are listed in the Metro Bus Requirements worksheet for all Metro divisions. o Contract Bus Requirements - Weekday, Saturday and Sunday bus requirements are listed in the Contract Bus Requirements worksheet for First Transit-Division 91, Southland Transit-Division 95 and Veolia TransportationDivision 98.

o Metro Rail Train and Car Requirements - Weekday, Saturday and Sunday rail requirements for the Metro Red, Blue, Green and Gold rail services are listed under the Rail Requirements worksheet for Divisions 11, 20, 21, and 22. o Comparison Chart - Weekday maximum equipment requirements from the June 29, 2008 as compared to the December 14, 2007 Shake-ups are reported in the comparison worksheet. o Equipment Summary - a summary of maximum in-service buses, spare buses (using the FTA spare ratio) and division bus storage capacities are listed in the Equipment Summary worksheet. Scheduled bus requirements are provided by division, by line, day of the week and time of day. An expansion factor has been calculated and included for buses greater than 40 feet. o Bus-Type Glossary - a list of bus types and descriptions including Hastus Codes and Descriptions and M3 Codes and Descriptions for each type. o Division Capacity - a list of each division and the current bus capacity based on 40 foot buses.
