English 0950 Portfolio Now that you have completed all five essays, it is time to assemble the final graded project for English 0950, the Portfolio. The Portfolio consists of revised versions of three of your essays. Select the essays that you feel best reflect your work in this course, and revise each substantially. These revisions will be based on my previous comments, your classmates’ feedback, and your own rereading of your work. The purpose of the Portfolio is to see what you have accomplished in this course and prove that you are ready for English 1101 and other college-level writing situations. This also acts as the final exam for this course, demonstrating your ability to revise your own writing in meaningful ways. You must submit a passing Portfolio in order to pass the class. We will conduct revision workshops over the next few class periods to work on the essays that you will include in your Portfolio. Bring to class the essays you will be revising to receive feedback from your classmates. To submit your Portfolio, staple hard copies of the three revised essays together and bring them to class. Your Portfolio is due in class on Thursday, 23 April.
