Emergency Action Plan TMSi Distribution Center Jeffersonville, IN Purpose The purpose of this emergency plan is to address emergencies that the employees and management might reasonably expect in our workplace. Examples are: fire; toxic chemical release; severe weather\tornadoes; blizzard; floods; acts of terrorism and others in accordance to the OSHA standard of 1910.38 Subpart E – Means of Egress; Employee emergency plans…(a) “Emergency action plan” * Power Outages * Emergency Escape route assignments * Employee Accounting procedures * Emergency reporting * Training

* Emergency escape procedures * Evacuation to safe zones * Rescue and medical duties * Emergency Contact list Scope

This plan applies to the TMSi\G.E facility located at 1251 Port Road, Jeffersonville, Indiana Responsibility It is the responsibility of all TMSi supervisors and managers to insure that this plan is in effect and that all employees have received Emergency Action Plan training. Further, it is TMSi management’s responsibility to identify any breeches in policy or practice and to take corrective action and communicate changes to the employees. It is the responsibility of ALL EMPLOYEES to conform to the requirements of this plan. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action. Due to the extreme importance of this plan and the potentially fatal consequences of an emergency in the work place, termination of employment may result from a single violation of this plan. Power Outages In the event of a power outage, employees will stay where they are until directed otherwise. Equipment operators should shutdown their equipment and be prepared to walk to the designated assembly point. Under no circumstances should equipment be operated with emergency lighting. Also note, the wire guidance system will not operate with a loss of electrical power. This facility is equipped with an emergency generator that is capable of operating the emergency lights only. The emergency generator will automatically engage. In the event the emergency generator does not automatically engage, the generator will be manually operated by a trained person. The procedure for manually operating the generator is located within this Action Plan. Without power to the facility the telephones will not function. Wireless phones will be the primary means of communicating with the outside world. The radios will remain functional during a power outage. If power is not restored within 5 minutes, a call to the Electric company should be made to notify them of the situation (see Emergency Contact List section, this plan). With even a brief loss of electrical power the lights will remain off until they have cooled enough to recycle back on. This will normally take between 15 and 20 minutes. Emergency Generator Manual operating procedure – Go to the Transformer Room. The first black box on the left is labeled Kohler Power System. Switch the system from Auto to Test. The generator should start, if not, call for service at: Nixon Power Services (800) 596-4966 or (502) 491-8186. Note, the emergency generator is tested every Friday automatically by timer.
