The programme is based on independent studio work and intense art history and Italian courses. • Flora and Fauna, Mayan Culture, Cuernavaca, Morelas, Mexico, January- March 2007 -Printmaking travel studio exploring Nature and Contemporary Art of Mexico. -Travelling Anthropology course concentrating on the cultural history of Mexico, particularly investigating that of the Mayan culture. Aided in the organization of ‘Art in Open Spaces’ a one day event aimed at exposing the Ghanaian community to contemporary art. Responsible for organizing fundraising for a variety of events and the yearly cost of running the office. The board is responsible for overseeing the two student run galleries on campus, which allow for RISD students to exhibit in a student managed gallery space. Responsibilities involve finding appropriate work for exhibitions, advertising upcoming exhibitions, curating and providing financial and structural support for the artists.
