General eligibility criteria: 1. Candidate should be a student of Civil Department. 2. A candidate is allowed to contest for only one of the above posts. 3. No candidate with active backlogs (for any reasons) is allowed to contest any of these posts

Department M Tech Representative Any PG student who has completed a minimum of 1 semester in Civil and is not in the final year is eligible to contest for this post. Department PhD Representative Any PhD student who has completed a minimum of 3 semesters in Civil Department and is not in the final year is eligible to contest for this post. PG sports and Cult representative Any PG student who has completed a minimum of 1 semester in Civil Department and is not in the final year is eligible to contest for this post.

All the manifestos have to be mailed by 10​th​ April, 23:59 hrs along with one photo (which will be put up on the Election page). No posters or banners can be put up in the Department premises. Candidates are not allowed to do campaigning in the Department premises. The decision of the Elections Officer on any issue related to the election shall be final and binding on all concerned. In case, there is no nomination for a particular post then interested students will be interviewed for that post.

Electorate: The electorate for the election of all Mtech Representatives and PhD Representative will be the entire PG and PhD students of the department respectively.

Nomination Procedure Send a mail stating your interest in the specific post to ​[email protected]​. ​The mail must contain your name, roll number and contact details. You will also need to send the withdrawal mail or manifesto to the same email id within the given deadline. Subject of the mail: “Department Election: 2018-19, Nomination for XYZ post” Contact election officers in case of any doubts.
