EIP308 Initial Setup EIP308 Initial Setup EIP308 WAN port is configured as DHCP client When powered up, click menu+’4’+’5’ to display the phone’s IP address Go to http://[phone ip address]:9999 to access web configuration page Default login information: user: root, password: test Check SIP domain configuration to setup SIP account If registration is OK, you will see account display name shown on LCD Make call to ‘112’ to auto attendant or ‘117’ to CID reader Change AA voice prompts by dial into 1605 + ‘0’

C picks up phone, A and C are in call. A calls B, B picks up call. B press HOLD and TRANSFER and dials C's number. PBX hangs up B. A will hear ringback from C. C picks up call, A and C are in call. A calls B, B picks up. A press HOLD to put B on hold. A gets another line. A calls C, C picks up call. A press CONF to put B and C in 3 way conference. A calls B, B picks up. A press HOLD to put B in hold. A gets new line. A calls C, C picks up call. A press CONF to put B and C in 3 way conference. A hang up the call, B and C are in call. A calls B, B picks up call. B press HOLD and TRANSFER and dials extension 700. PBX gives B a new number, e.g 701. B hang up the call. B goes to another Phone and dials the assigned new number, B and A in call again.

13 Check VoiceMail

A's Phone's VMS is light. A calls 1603 to retreive the voice mail. Or A calls 1604 and dial the user extension and password to retreive the voice mail.

14 Call Forward

Press FWD and to enable, press FWD again to disable. Forward number can be set in LCD menu or WEB GUI. Press DND to enable, press DND again to disable

15 Do Not Disturb

Login to the Phone’s WEB GUI

Please note the correct web server address is http://[ip phone address]:9999

Use default information to login to phone’s web GUI User name: root Password: test

Save and Apply Changes

Please remember to save changes every time you make changes to the settings, after saving the phone will automatically restart to make change effective

EIP308 supports 3 SIP realms each can have individual SIP server setup, e.g. 3 different service providers

EIP308 supports automatically configure the phone based on phone’s MAC address through HTTP, FTP and TFTP protocols
