Educational Seminars Parental Rights & Responsibilities November 12, 2009
Landlord/Tenant Relationships December 10, 2009
It is an unfortunate reality that some parents are afraid to discipline their children out of fear of being reported to CPS. However, the Texas Family Code gives parents the right to use reasonable discipline in raising their children.
Both landlords and tenants have rights and responsibilities set out in the Texas Property Code. Some cases coming through the Justice Court could have been mitigated if each party knew the laws.
This event will cover specific sections of the Family Code and Education Code that are specific to parental rights and responsibilities. Some may surprise you!
These laws will be discussed and there will be ample time for questions and answers.
This seminar will be valuable to both parents and grandparents of teens and pre-teens.
