After calculating the total cost of college for one of my top choices for colleges, Nazareth College, I truly have no idea how I am going to pay for my freshman year other than taking out enormous student loans and hoping and working for scholarships. I am currently trying to find a parttime job so I can save up and ease the amount of debt a little. I know that I am going to pay off a lot of the debt by working at the college itself, most likely in a secretarial position, or in the food service industry. I will eventually pay off the debt, some way or another. As of now, I have very little saved up, and my parents do not have a “college fund” for me, or my sister, or my brother, who are both younger than me. I have a small amount in my bank account (about $3,000.00 dollars), but that will barely put a dent in the loans that I will need to take out.
