What good would life have been to us had Christ not come as our Redeemer? (from the “Exsultet”)

Christ has come. Christ has rredeemed edeemed us. We are his people – In the words of Jesus “Do not be afraid…” As an Easter people let us not then thenbe be afraid to tell the world that thatwe we are redeemed, we can rise with Him.

ST. FRANCIS XAVIER BOOK CLUB: will be reading “The Shack” by William P. Young. Be a part of mission, celebration, catechesis and formation this weekend with a special liturgy to burn all the prayers placed into the Ark of the New Covenant that travelled across Canada leading up to the Eucharistic Congress in 2008 and join in the transfer of the Ark to the Archdiocese of Ottawa. COOKERY CLASSES: A heartfelt thanks to MaryMary-Liz Burnett (and her assistant Hannah) for her informative and delicious class on Asian Asian Cooking. A great time was had by all. The Thanks nks Maryfood and instruction brought together parishioners for a wonderful evening. Tha Mary-Liz.
