Duties Of Club Officers

Board Of Directors President Immediate Past President Vice Presidents Secretary Treasurer Lion Tamer Tail Twister Membership Director Directors

Elected from members in good standing

Control and supervise the business and affairs of the club. Responsible for the execution of the policies approved by the club. Have general control over all committees and officers.

Authorize all expenditures and shall not create any indebtedness beyond the current income of the club

Present annual report of its operation to the club membership.

It shall not authorize, nor

permit, the expenditure, for any administrative purpose, of the net income of projects or activities of this club by which funds are raised from the public.

Be an active member of the District Governor’s Advisory Committee .

Ensures that regular election are held

Immediate Past President He/she and the other past presidents shall officially greet members and their guests at club meetings and shall represent this club in welcoming all new service-minded people in the community served by this club.

Vice President Occupies the position of President if the

President is unable to perform the duties. Oversee the functioning of such committees of this club as the president shall designate.

Secretar y Under the supervision and direction of the President and BOD Keep and maintain general record of the Club, including minutes of BOD and club, list of officers and committee appointment, elections, member’s information and record.

Submit regular monthly and other reports as required or called for by the BOD/DG/LCI. Submit to Registrar of Society such reports , records, documents and information as it may require including copies of minutes of annual General meeting, and extraordinary general meeting and annual returns .

Be an active member of the District Governor’s Advisory Committee .

At the end of your term of office… To hand over records to your successor

Keep and maintain Book- keeping record of the club

Prepare and submit

• Income & Expenditure Statement for Admin. Account • Income & Expenditure Statement for Project Account • Bank Balance • Cash Balance • Bills for approval

monthly reports to• Board of Directors & Sponsoring Lions• Clubs

Record of all dues – paying members Report on status of paid up membership

Receive all monies and deposit the same in a bank or banks Pay out monies on authority given by Board of Directors

Maintain 2 separate funds 1st Fund Administration Accounts

2nd Fund Project & Activities Accounts

Income Club Dues Tail-Twisting Other internally raised Club Fund

Sight First Hearing & Speech Citizenship Services Educational Services Environmental Services Health Services Youth Exchange International Youth Camp Leo Club Public Services Recreation Services Social Services Other Community

All expenses incurred in connection with the projects shall be considered as an expenses of the project

At the end of your term of office… To hand over books and records and unused cheque books to your successor

Membership Director Chairman of the membership committee. Development of a growth program specifically for the club and presented to the Board of Directors for approval. Regular encouragement at club meeting to bring in new quality members. Ensuring implementation of proper recruitment and retention procedures.

Preparation and implementation of orientation sessions. Reporting to the board of directors on ways to reduce the loss of members. Coordination with other club committees in fulfilling these responsibilities. Serving as a member of the zone level membership committee.

Lion Tamer

Responsible for the property and paraphernalia of the club Sergeant-at-arms at meetings, see that those present are properly seated, and distribute bulletins, favors and literature as required at club and board meetings.

each new member sits with a different group at each meeting so that he/she can become better acquainted.

Tail Twister

Promote harmony, good fellowship, life and enthusiasm in the meetings through appropriate stunts and games and the judicious imposition of fines on club members

Directors To carry out duties and responsibilities as directed by President and Board Of Directors
