Great duck rocker for kids For kids up to 4 years of age, every child would be happy to have a rocker like this All you need is a little time,a bit of material and a heart for little kids. All pictures and text are for private use only

1.Step Take the two larger boards and draw a grid on it wich is divided into 16 horizontal and 16 vertikal lines.(Use a pencil not a felt pen) Than transfer the picture exactly as is shown in Abb1. Instead of circles for the holes you may also just make a small cross (x) 2.Step Now take the second board and lay it next to the first board as in Abb.2 Fasten with a clamp or two (so they can't move apart). With pencil, ruler and tape measure transfer all your marks for drilling the holes.

4. Step Now put both board's back on back to each other (watch the direction), nail them on the corners Together so they stay together when you cut the shape out.(they must be cut out together in order to have two identical shapes)(use the Jigsaw). Cut out the shape being careful not to push too hard on the saw as this may result in a crooked cut. If everything is cut out then round off the corners and sides with sand paper, so that no teethmarks are visible(you may use a electr.sander too if you have one.) 5. Step Now take the two small boards and follow the pictures of the single parts. Sit board 25 x 18 cm: round off on of the sides wich is 25 cm(the other sides just lightly sand with fine sand paper) ● Seat board 25 x 18 cm: cut an angle of 15° on the side opposite to the rounded side as in Abb7. ● Back support 25 x 25 cm:round it off as in picture Abb.3 + 4 ● Back support 25 x 25 cm: cut the backpart also at 15° angle ● Back support 25 x 25 cm: drill 2 holes 4 mm as in picture Abb 6. ● Put seat together as in Picture Abb. 7A using 2 50 x 4 mm screws. ● ●

6.Step ●

Cut all round hardwood sticks to a length of 26,6 cm and clean up the ends a bit with sand paper

7. Step ● Acryl paint dries faster but is not a resilient as oil paints ● Oil paint take's a lot longer to dry( 24hr between coats) ● All parts can now be undercoated (mask up the marks for the seat) ● Let them dry completely (sand lightly after drying) ● Then apply the first coat of paint (with the small paint roller is the best) ● Mask up the Areas for different colors such as the eyes and so on. ● After the first coat of paint is completely dry , sand lightly with the fine sand paper ● Then apply the second coat ● Now apply the paint for the eyes and any other areas (with the small brush) ● Leave the seat markings masked up, as you will need them to fix the seat later on ●Don't start putting parts together until all the paint is completely dry.

8.Step Putting it all together.. First take the round sticks 10mm and add some wood glue to the ends(not too much) ● Do the same with the 15 mm stick (handlebar) ● And start pushing them into the predrilled holes (tapping them in lightly with the hammer) ● See picture Abb.8 ● Now take the preassembled seat and fix it with 3 screws (50 mmx 4 mm) to the sidepanel ● See Abb.9 ● Now comes the other side. Put it on top and line up the sticks to fit into the holes again ● Than tapp lightly with the hammer (use a scrapboard under the hammer as not to ● damage the paint). If they are all snugly together put in the rest of the scres and tighten them. ● Let it all dry for a day. ●

Finished... Happy rocking !
