‫َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ّٰ ّ َ ّ ۡ َ ۡ‬ ‫َّ‬ ‫﴾َالر ۡح ّٰم ِنَ‬ ‫ب َال ّٰ َعل ِ َم َی َسَ﴿ ۙ‪۱‬‬ ‫ال َحمد َلِل َِہ َر ِ َ‬ ‫َ َ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫َّ ۡ‬ ‫ّٰ َ ۡ‬ ‫َالد َیۡ ِنَ﴿‪ ﴾۳‬ا َِیّاؽَ‬ ‫الر ِح َی ِمَ﴿ ۙ‪َ َ﴾۲‬ملِکِ َیو ِؿ ِ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫َ َ َ‬ ‫ۡ َ‬ ‫َ ُ‬ ‫ن ۡع ُبد َ ََق ا َِیّاؽ َن ۡس َت ِع َی ُسَ﴿‪َِ َ ﴾۴‬ا َہ ِ َد َناَ‬ ‫َ َّ‬ ‫ّ َ َ ۡ‬ ‫س َت ِق َۡی َمَ﴿ ۙ‪ِ َ ﴾۵‬ص َراط َال ِذ َیۡ َنَ‬ ‫َال ُم ۡ َ‬ ‫الصراط َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ََۡ ۡ َ َ َۡ ۡ َ ۡ‬ ‫ۡ ۡ ُ‬ ‫َال َم َغض ۡ َو ِبَ‬ ‫۬غ َی ِر َ‬ ‫ت َع َلی َہِمَۙ‬ ‫انع َم َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ َّ ّ ۡ‬ ‫َع َل ۡی َہِ َۡم َ َ َ َق َلاَالضٓال َِی َسَ﴿ ‪﴾۷٪‬‬ ‫(سورة الفاتحة)‬ ‫‪2‬‬

All the praises and thanks be to Allâh Taa’la, the Lord of the 'Alamîn. The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling

Judge)

Recompense

of

Resurrection) You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). Guide us to the straight path. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger nor of those who went astray. 3

‫‪Prayer for Protection from‬‬ ‫‪Miscreants /Evil Beings‬‬

‫َ ُ‬ ‫ّٰ ّ َ‬ ‫َ ُ ُ‬ ‫اع ۡ َوذ َبِالل ِہ َا ۡـ َاؼ ۡ َو َـ َ ِم َن َ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ہلِ َۡ َ‬ ‫یسَ﴿﴾) بقرة‪)76:‬‬ ‫ال َّٰج ِ َ‬ ‫‪I take Allâh Taala's Refuge from‬‬ ‫‪4‬‬

‫"‪being among Al-Jâhilûn.‬‬

‫ُ‬ ‫َ َّ َ َ َ َّ ۡ َّ َّ َ َ ۡ َ َّ‬ ‫َالس ِم ۡ َیؿَ‬ ‫۬ َاِنکَا َنت‬ ‫ربناَتقبل َِمناَ‬ ‫ۡ َ ۡ ُ َ َّ َ َ ۡ ۡ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫َاج َعل َنا َُم ۡسلِ َم َی ِسَ‬ ‫العلِ َی َم َ﴿﴾ ربنا َق‬ ‫َ َ َم ۡ ُ َ‬ ‫َّ َ‬ ‫َُ ُ‬ ‫َ۬ َ‬ ‫ن َذ ّ ِر َیّ ِت َناَ َ َا ّمۃَ َ ّم ۡسلِ َمۃَ ََ ل َ‬ ‫ک‬ ‫لک َق َ ِ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ ُ‬ ‫َّ َ‬ ‫اَق َت ۡب ََعل ۡ َی َ َناَۚ َاِنکَ‬ ‫اسکن‬ ‫ق َا ِرناَمن ِ‬ ‫‪5‬‬

ّ ‫ا َنتَالت ّواب‬ )۷۲۱،۷۲۱:‫ح َیمَ﴿﴾(بقرۃ‬ ِ ‫َالر‬ "Our

Lord!

Accept

(this

service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the AllKnower.

and

accept

our

repentance. Truly, You are the ONE who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

‫ہ‬ ‫اےہارےرپورداگر! مسےہارےولمعں وکوبقك‬ ‫فرامےل کشیب وت نسواال(اور) اجےنن واالےہ۔‬ ‫کشیبوتوتہبوبقك‬،‫اورہاریوتہبوبقكفرامےبہبش‬ 6

Prayer for Goodness in this world & the Hereafter

ّٰ َ َ ۡ ُّ َ‫َربّ َنا َ َاتِ َنا َفِی َالدن َیا ََح َس َنۃ َ َ ّق َفِی‬ ّٰ ۡ َ َ َّ َ ‫َع َذ‬ َ‫اب‬ ‫الا ِخ َر ِۃ ََح َس َنۃ َ َق َ ِقنا‬ َّ )102:‫ر﴿﴾ ) بقرة‬ َِ ‫النا‬ "Our Lord! give us in this world that which is good and in the hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the fire!" 7

‫اےربہارے!دےںیمہداینںیمالھبیئاورآخرت‬ ‫ںیمالھبیئاور اچب ںیمدوزخےکذعابےس۔‬ ‫( ‪ )5‬ب ب‬ ‫جوکیئاوسفانسکربخےنسوتہیداعڑپےھ‬

‫ـ﴿﴾ َ(بقرة ‪:1‬‬ ‫اِنا َلِل ِہ ََق َ َ َِانا َاِل ۡی ِہ َر ِجعو َ‬ ‫‪)257‬‬ ‫‪"Truly! to Allâh Taa’la we belong‬‬ ‫"‪and Truly, to Him we shall return.‬‬

‫مہ ب‬ ‫ساہلل یہےکںیہاورمہ وک اہلل یہ یک رطفولٹ‬ ‫رکاجباےہ۔‬

‫َۡ ۡ َ‬ ‫ۡ َ َ ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َربّ َنا َ َاف ِرغ ََعل ۡی َنا ََصبرا ّ ََق َث ِّبتَ‬ ‫َ َۡ‬ ‫ۡ َ‬ ‫اَ ۡق َد َ‬ ‫ام َنا َ َق ان ُص ۡرنا ََعدی َالق ۡو ِؿَ‬ ‫ّٰ‬ ‫ن ﴿﴾ ) بقرة‪َ)150:‬‬ ‫اـۡؽفِطِیۡ َ َ‬ ‫‪"Our Lord! pour forth on‬‬ ‫‪us patience and make us‬‬ ‫‪9‬‬

‫ۡ َّ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ َّ َ َ ُ َ ۡ َ‬ ‫ـ َن ِس ۡ َی َناَ َ َ َا ۡقَ‬ ‫اخذناَ َ َ َِا َ‬ ‫ربنا ََلا َتؤ ِ‬ ‫َ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ َّ َ َ َ َ ۡ ۡ َ‬ ‫ل َ َعل ۡ َی َنا َ‬ ‫۬ۚ َربنا ََق َ َلا َ َتح ِم َ‬ ‫َاخط َانا َ‬ ‫َ َّ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫َِاصرا َؼ َما ََح َمل َتہَ َ َعدی َال ِذیَۡ َن َ ِم ۡنَ‬ ‫‪10‬‬

َ َ َ َ ۡ ُ َ َ َ َ‫َ۬ۚ َربّ َنا ََقَ َلا َتحَ ِّمل َنا ََما ََلاَطاقۃ‬ َ‫ق ۡب ِل َنا‬ َ ۡ َ َ َ ُ ۡ َ‫َ َق‬ٝ۬ َ‫ ََقَاغف ِ ۡطَل َنا‬َٝ‫َ۬ۚ َقَاعفَع ّنا‬ َ‫ل َناَبِہ‬ َ َ ۡ َ َ ّٰ ۡ َ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ‫ان ُص ۡرنا َ َعدی‬ َ ‫َ َا َنت َمو َلىنا ف‬ٝ۬ َ ‫ارحمنا‬ َ ۡ

َۡۡ

)۲۱۲:‫ن ﴿﴾َ(بقرۃ‬ َ ‫ؽفِطِ َی‬ َ ‫القو ِؿَاـ‬ "Our Lord! punish us not if we forget or fall into error, Our Lord! lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); Our Lord! put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. 11

Prayer for a Good End (of Life(

ُُ ۡ ُ َ َ َ َ ۡ َ َ ‫َربّ َناَلاَت ِزغ َقل ۡوب َ َناَب َ ۡعد ََاِذ َہدیۡ َت َنا‬ َ َ َ َّ َ ۡ ُ َّ َ‫ََق َہ ۡب َل َنا َ ِم ۡن َلدنک ََر ۡح َمۃَۚ َاِنک‬ ُ َّ ۡ َ ۡ َ )۱:ٌ‫انتَال َوہابَ﴿﴾(عنرا‬ "Our Lord! let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from you. Truly, You are the Bestower." 13

‫َ َّ َ َّ َ ّٰ َ َّ َ ۡ ۡ َ َ ُ‬ ‫اَذن ُ ۡوب َ َن َ‬ ‫اَقَ‬ ‫ربنا َاِننا َامناَفاغفِط َلن‬ ‫َ َ َ َ َّ‬ ‫ِقناَعذابَالنا ِرَ﴿﴾ )العنراٌ‪(۷۲:‬‬ ‫‪"Our Lord! we have indeed believed,‬‬ ‫‪so forgive us our sins and save us‬‬ ‫"‪from the punishment of the fire.‬‬

‫َ ّٰ ّ‬ ‫َ ۡ ۡ ُۡ ۡ ۡ َ‬ ‫َ َالل ُہ َّم َّٰملِک َال ُملکِ َتؤتِی َال ُملک َ َم ۡنَ‬ ‫َ َ ُ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ َ َّ ۡ َ َ ُ َ ُ ُ‬ ‫ََ۫ق َت ِش ّزَ‬ ‫تشٓاء ََق َتن ِزع َالملک َ ِممن َتشٓاء َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ٓاء َ ََق َتُذ ُّؾ َ َم ۡن َت َ َش ُ‬ ‫َم ۡن َت َ َش ُ‬ ‫ٓاءَ َبِ َی ِدؽَ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َّ َ ّٰ ُ ّ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َۡۡ‬ ‫الخی ُرَ َاِنک ََعدی َک ِل َش ۡی ٍء َق ِدیۡ ٌر َ﴿﴾‬ ‫َّ َ َ ُ ۡ ُ َّ‬ ‫َّ َ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َالن َہ َ‬ ‫ارَ‬ ‫ت ۡول ُِجَال ۡیلَفِیَالنہا ِرَقَتول ِج‬ ‫‪15‬‬

ۡ َ َّ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َّ ّ َ َ‫ت ََق‬ ‫ی‬ ‫م‬ َ ‫فِیَالی ِل‬ ِ ِ ‫ََ۫ق َتخ َِرج َالحی َ ِمن َال‬ ُ ُ َ َ ّ َۡ َ َ ّ َۡ ُ ُۡ َ‫ََ۫ق َت ۡرزؼ َ َم ۡن‬ َ ‫َالم ِیت َ ِمن َالح ِی‬ َ ‫تخ ِرج‬ َۡ ُ ََ َ )۲۱،۲۲:ٌ‫اب َ﴿﴾ )العنرا‬ َ ٍ ‫ٓاء َبِغی َِر َ ِح َس‬ َ ‫تش‬ "O Allâh! possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things. You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter 16

‫‪into the night (i.e. increase and‬‬ ‫‪decrease In the hours of the night and‬‬ ‫‪the day during winter and summer),‬‬ ‫‪You bring the living out of the dead,‬‬ ‫‪and You bring the dead out of the‬‬ ‫‪living. and You give wealth and‬‬ ‫‪sustenance to whom You will,‬‬ ‫‪without limit (measure or account).‬‬

‫‪Prayer for‬‬ ‫‪Children/Offspring‬‬

‫َّ ُ ۡ َ ُ َ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َر ِ ّب َہ ۡب َخ ِ ۡی َ ِم ۡن َلدنک َذ ّ ِریّۃ َط ِّی َبۃََۚ‬ ‫َّ َ َ ُ ُّ َ‬ ‫اِنکَس ِم ۡیؿ َالدعٓا َِء ﴿﴾ (آلعنراٌ‪)۸۱:‬‬ ‫‪"O My Lord! grant me from You, a‬‬ ‫‪good offspring. You are indeed the‬‬ ‫"‪All-Hearer of invocation.‬‬

Prayer of Hazrat ‘Eisa’s Companions

َّ َ ّٰ َ َ ۡ َۡ َ‫ت َ ََقات َب ۡع َنا‬ َ ‫َربّ َناَ َا َم ّنا َبِ َماَ َان َزل‬ ّ ّٰ َ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ َّ َ‫اَمؿ َالش ِہ ِدیۡ َن‬ ‫ؾ َفاؼتبن‬ َ ‫الرسو‬ )۳۸:ٌ‫(العنرا‬ Our Lord! we believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger ['Esa (Jesus)]; so write us down among those who bear witness 19

‫ ‪(to the truth i.e. Lâ ilâha ill-Allâh‬‬‫‪none has the right to be worshipped‬‬ ‫‪but Allâh).‬‬

Prayer of Allah Taa’la’s Soldier/Warrior

َ ُُ َ ۡ َ َ ‫َربّ َنا َاغف ِ ۡط َل َنا َذن ۡوب َ َنا ََق َا ِۡس َراف َنا َف ِ ۡی‬ َ َ ۡ ۡ َّ َ َ َۡ َ ‫ت َاَ ۡق َد‬ َ‫ام َنا َََق َان ُص ۡرنا ََعدی‬ ‫ام ِرنا ََق َث ِب‬ َ ۡ ّٰ ۡ ۡ َ ۡ )۷۴۱:ٌ‫القو ِؿ َاـؽفِطِینَ﴿﴾ (العنرا‬ "Our Lord! forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk."

‫َ َّ َ َ َ َ ۡ َ ّٰ َ‬ ‫ُ ۡ َ‬ ‫ََۚسب ّٰن َنکَ‬ ‫اَماَخلقت َہذاَبَا ِطلا‬ ‫ربن‬ ‫َ َ َ َ َ َّ‬ ‫َ َّ َ‬ ‫َالنا ِر َ﴿﴾ َربّ َناَ ََ اِنک َ َ َم ۡنَ‬ ‫ف ِقناَعذاب‬ ‫َّ َ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ‬ ‫ُۡ‬ ‫ار َفقد َاخ َزیۡ َتہَ َََق َ َماَ‬ ‫تد ِخ ِل َالن‬ ‫َّ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ل ِل ّٰ ّظلِمیۡ َس َ ِم ۡن َاَنۡ َ‬ ‫ار َ﴿﴾ َ َربّ َناَ َ َاِن َناَ‬ ‫ص‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ٍ‬ ‫‪22‬‬

‫ُّ َ ۡ ۡ ۡ َ َ‬ ‫َس ِم ۡع َن ُ‬ ‫اـ َا ۡـَ‬ ‫اَم َنادِیاَیناد َ‬ ‫ِی َ َل ِل ِایم ِ‬ ‫َ َ ۡ‬ ‫ّٰ ُ‬ ‫ُ َ ّٰ َ‬ ‫ا ِمن ۡوا َبِ َربِّک ۡم َفا َم ّناَۖ٭ ََربّ َناَفاغف ِ ۡطَ‬ ‫ّٰ‬ ‫َّ َ َ‬ ‫َ ُُ‬ ‫ل َنا َذن ۡوب َ َنا َََق َکف ِ َۡط َع ّنا ََس ِّیاتِ َنا ََقَ‬ ‫َ َ َّ َ َ َ‬ ‫ؿ َالۡاَبۡ َرا َر﴿﴾َ َربَّ َنا ََقَ ّٰاتِ َناَماََ‬ ‫توفناَم‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ ۡ َّ‬ ‫َ َ ُۡ َ‬ ‫ّٰ‬ ‫َقعدت َنا ََعدی َُر ُسلِک َََق َلا َتخ ِزنا َی َ ۡو َؿَ‬ ‫َّ َ َ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ال ِق ّٰی َم ِۃَ َاِنکَلاَتخلِفَال ِم ۡی َعادَ﴿﴾َ‬ ‫(العنراٌ‪)۷۹۴-۷۹۷:‬‬ ‫‪"Our Lord! You have not created‬‬ ‫‪(all) this without purpose, Glory to‬‬ ‫‪You! (Exalted be You above All that‬‬ ‫‪23‬‬

they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. "Our Lord! verily, whom You admit to

the fire, indeed, You have

disgraced him, and never will the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers) find any helpers. "Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad) calling to faith: 'Believe In Your Lord,' and we have believed. our Lord! forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abrâr

‫‪(those who are obedient to Allâh and‬‬ ‫‪follow strictly His orders).‬‬ ‫‪"Our Lord! grant us what You‬‬ ‫‪promised unto us through Your‬‬ ‫‪Messengers and disgrace us not on‬‬ ‫‪the Day of Resurrection, for You‬‬ ‫"‪never break (your) promise.‬‬

‫اےہارےرب! وتےنہی(اکراخہن)ثبع ںیہن انببا وت‬ ‫ب‬ ‫سوبیعںےسباکےہوسمہوکدوزخےکذعابےس‬ ‫اچبےل۔اےہارےرب! سجوکوتےندوزخںیمڈاال‬ ‫وساس وکروسارکدبااور(واہں)اگہنگروں اکوکیئ دمداگر‬ ‫ںیہن۔اےرب ہارے!مہ ےنانسہک ای اکپرےن واال‬ ‫اامیم(الےن)ےکےئلاکپرباےہہک(ولوگ!)اےنپربرپ‬ ‫اامیم الؤوتمہ اامیم ےلآےئ۔ اےہارےرب !اب‬ ‫‪25‬‬

‫ہارے گاہ شخب دے اور ہاری بیراایئں مہ ےس دور‬ ‫ب ب‬ ‫(اورج داینےسااھٹبا) وتکین دنبوں ںیم‬ ‫فرامدے‬ ‫شالم فرامرکداینےس ااھٹےل۔ اےہارےرب !وتےن‬ ‫مہ ےسوج ودعےاےنپروسولں یک رعمتف ےئکںیہ وہ‬ ‫بیصنفراماورایقمےکدممہوکروساہنرکباکشیبوت‬ ‫ودعہےکالخفںیہنرکبا۔‬ ‫(‪ )15‬اظملےکہجنپٔادبتسادےساجنتباےنےکےئلداع‬

‫‪Prayer for Relief from‬‬ ‫‪Oppressors‬‬

‫َۡ‬ ‫َ َۡ‬ ‫ّٰ‬ ‫َربّ َناَ اخ ِر ۡج َناَ ِم ۡنَ ہ ِذ ِفَ الق ۡری َ ِۃَ‬

َّ ۡ ۡ َ َ ُ ۡ َ َّ َ‫اج َعل َل َنا َ ِم ۡن‬ َ ‫الظال ِِم َاہلہاَۚ ََق‬ َ ۡ ُ َّ ‫َّ ُ ۡ َ َ ّ َّ ۡ َ ۡ َّ َ م ۡن‬ َ‫۬ ََق َاجعل َلنا َ ِ َلدنک‬ َۚ‫لدنک َقل ِیا‬ ۡ َ )۱۳:‫صیراَ﴿﴾(اليساء‬ ِ‫ن‬ "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town

whose

people

are

oppressors; and raise for us from You, one who will protect, and raise for us from You, one who will help."

‫اےہارےرب! اس یتسب ےسسج ےکرےنہواےلمہ‬ ‫مہوکاجنتدےاوراینپرطفےس‬،‫رپملظرکےت ںیہ‬ 27

‫ہاراوکیئاحیمڑھکا رکدے اوراینپیہرطفےسیسکوک‬ ‫ہارادمداگرانبدے۔‬ ‫(‪ )16‬فرایخٔرزقیکداع‬

‫‪Prayer for Increased‬‬ ‫‪Sustenance‬‬

‫َ َّ َ َ ۡ ۡ َ َ ۡ َ َ َ ّم َن َّ‬ ‫َالس َمٓا ِءَ‬ ‫ربناَان ِزؾَعلی َناَمٓائِدۃَ ِ‬ ‫َ ُ َ‬ ‫ّ ََ‬ ‫ّٰ َ‬ ‫تک ۡو ُـ َل َنا َِع ۡیدا َلِا ّقل َِنا َ ََق ا ِخ ِرنا ََقَ‬ ‫ّٰ َ ّ ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ‬ ‫َۡ َ َ ۡ‬ ‫ارزق َنا َََق انت َخی ُرَ‬ ‫ایۃ َِمنکَۚ ََق‬ ‫ّٰ ّ ۡ‬ ‫الر ِز ِقی َسَ‬

‫َ ﴿﴾)مائدۃ‪َ)۷۷۴:‬‬

‫‪Our Lord! send us from heaven a‬‬ ‫‪28‬‬

table spread (with food) that there may be for us - for the first and the last of us - a festival and a sign from You; and provide us sustenance, for You are the best of sustainers."

‫ۡ َ‬ ‫ۡ ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َربّ َنا َاف َتح َب َ ۡی َن َنا ََق َبَی َس َق ۡو ِم َناَ‬ ‫ۡ َ ّ َ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ ۡ ّٰ ۡ‬ ‫س َ ﴿﴾‬ ‫ت َخی ُرَ َ الف ِت ِنی َ َ‬ ‫ق َقَان َ‬ ‫بِالح ِ َ‬

‫(اعراف‪َ)۱۹:‬‬

‫‪Our Lord! judge between us and our‬‬ ‫‪people in truth, for You are the best‬‬ ‫"‪of those who give judgment.‬‬

‫اےہارےرب! وتمہ ںیم اورہاری وقل ںیم ااصنف‬ ‫ب‬ ‫رامدےاوروتس ےسرتہبہلصیف رکےن‬ ‫ےک اسھت ہلصیف ف‬ ‫واالےہ۔‬ ‫‪30‬‬

‫َ َ َ‬ ‫َۡ ُ‬ ‫َّ َ ۡ‬ ‫َربّ َناَظل ۡم َناََانف َس َناَ‪ََ ٜ‬قَا ِۡـَ َل ۡم َتغف ِ ۡطَ‬ ‫ۡ ّٰ‬ ‫َ ُ َ َ‬ ‫ََ َ َ‬ ‫ن َ ِم َن َالخ ِص ِریۡ َنَ‬ ‫اقت ۡر َح ۡم َنال َنک ۡون ّ َ‬ ‫لن‬ ‫(اعراف‪)۲۸:‬‬ ‫‪wronged‬‬

‫‪have‬‬

‫‪we‬‬

‫!‪Lord‬‬

‫‪"Our‬‬

‫‪ourselves. if You forgive us not, and‬‬ ‫‪bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we‬‬ ‫"‪shall certainly be of the losers.‬‬

‫اےہارےرب!مہےناینپاجونںرپملظایک اور ارگ‬ ‫وتںیمہںیہنےشخباگاورمہرپر مںیہنرکےاگ‪،‬وتمہابتہ‬ ‫وہاجںیئےگ۔‬ ‫‪31‬‬

‫‪Oppressed Person’s Prayer‬‬

‫َ َۡ ۡ َ‬ ‫ۡ َ َ ۡ‬ ‫َربّ ََناَ َاف ِر َغ َ َعل ۡی َنا َ َصبرا َ ّ َق َث ِّبتَ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َۡ‬ ‫ۡ َ‬ ‫اَ ۡق َد َ‬ ‫ام َنا َ ََقان ُص ۡرنا َ َعدی َالق ۡو ِؿَ‬ ‫ۡ ّٰ ۡ َ‬ ‫اـؽفِطِینَ﴿﴾(بقرہ‪)۲۳۲:‬‬ ‫‪Our Lord! Pour out on us patience,‬‬ ‫"‪and cause us to die as Muslims.‬‬

‫اےہارےرپورداگر!ہارےاورپربصایدلی دےاور‬ ‫ہاریاجماالسلیہرپلاکك۔‬

‫۞۞۞َ‬ ‫‪32‬‬

‫) الغیمووکحمیمےساجنتےکےئلداع‬21(

Prayer for Protection against Oppression and Relief

ۡ َ َ َّۡ َ ۡ َ‫َربّ َنا َلات ۡج َعل َنا َ ِفت َنۃَ َل ِلق ۡو ِؿ‬ َ ۡ ّ ّٰ َ َ‫س﴿ۙ﴾ َ ََق َن ِّج َنا َبِ َر ۡح َم ِتک َ ِم َن‬ َ َ ‫الظلِ ِمی‬ َ ۡ ّٰ ۡ َ ‫ال ۡ َق ۡو‬ )۱۲،۱۳:‫ؿ َاـؽفِطِینَ﴿﴾َ)یوىس‬ ِ Our Lord! make us not a trial for the folk who are Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doing) (i.e. do not make them overpower us). "And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving folk." 33

‫اےہارےرپورداگرمہوکاظملولوگںےکاہھتےس‬ ‫آزامشئںیمہنڈاك۔اورڑھچادےمہوکبرہبباینفرامرکام‬ ‫اکفرولوگںےس۔‬ ‫(‪ )21‬نسحاخہمتیکداع‬

‫‪Prayer for Good End of life‬‬

‫َۡ َ‬ ‫َ َ َّ‬ ‫ة َ ََق َ َال ۡ َاَ ۡ‬ ‫الس ّٰ َم ّٰ‬ ‫۬‪َ َ ٞ‬ا َنت َ َقخ ِ ّیَ‬ ‫ضَ‬ ‫ر‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫و‬ ‫فا ِط َر َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ َّ‬ ‫ۡ ّٰ‬ ‫ُّ ۡ‬ ‫۬ۚ َ ت َوف ِج ۡ َی َ ُم ۡسلِماَ‬ ‫فِی َ الدن ََیا َ َق َ َال َا ِخ َر ِۃ َ‬ ‫َّ َ ۡ ۡ ۡ ّٰ ّ ۡ‬ ‫س َ﴿﴾ (یوسف‪)۱۰۱:‬‬ ‫الص ِل ِن َی َ َ‬ ‫َق َ َال ِحق ِج َی َبِ َ‬ ‫‪The (only) Creator of the heavens‬‬ ‫‪and the earth! You are my Walî‬‬ ‫‪Supporter,‬‬

‫‪helper,‬‬

‫‪(Protector,‬‬

‫‪Guardian, etc.) In this world and‬‬ ‫‪34‬‬

‫‪in the hereafter, cause me to die‬‬ ‫‪as a Muslim (the one submitting‬‬ ‫‪to Your will), and join me with‬‬ ‫"‪the righteous.‬‬

‫‪Prayer for Children (so that‬‬ ‫)‪they be regular in prayers‬‬

‫َ ّ ۡ َ ۡ ۡ ُ ۡ َ َّ ّٰ‬ ‫َالصلو ِۃ َ َََق َ ِم ۡنَ‬ ‫ر ِب َاجعل ِجی َم ِقیم‬ ‫‪35‬‬

َ ُ َ َ َ ۡ َََ َ‫ذ ّ ِریّ ِت ۡی َۖ٭ ََربّ َنا ََق َتق ّبل َُدعٓا ِء َ﴿﴾ َربّ َنا‬ ۡ ۡ َ َ ۡ ۡ َ‫س‬ َ َ ‫اغف ِ ۡط َخ ِ ۡی َ َ ََق َل َِوال ِد ّی َََق َل ِل ُمؤ ِم ِنی‬ ۡ ُ َُۡ َ َۡ )۴۷-۴۲:‫﴾ (ابراھیه‬٪﴿َ ‫اب‬ َ ُ ‫ؿ َال ِح َس‬ َ ‫یوؿَ َیقو‬ "O My Lord! make me one who performs As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and (also) from my offspring, Our Lord! accept my invocation. "Our Lord! forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the day when the reckoning will be established."

‫اےرب! ھجم وکامنزاک اقمئ رےنھکواالانبدےاورریمی‬ ‫اوالدںیم ےسیھب اےرب ریمی داعوبقك فرام۔ اے‬ 36

‫ہارےبھجموکشخبدےاورریمیامںبباپوکشخباور‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ساامیمواولںوکاسدمہکبجاسحبوہ۔‬ ‫(‪ )23‬امںبباپےکےئلرتمحیکداع‬

‫‪Prayer for Parents‬‬

‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ ۡ‬ ‫ار َح ۡم ُہ َما َؼ َما ََربّ ّٰی ِج ۡ َی َ‬

‫َر ِ ّبَ‬ ‫َ ۡ‬ ‫ص ِغیراَ﴿﴾ ) بيیاسرائیل‪)۲۴:‬‬

‫‪"My Lord! bestow on them Your‬‬ ‫‪Mercy as they did bring me up when‬‬ ‫"‪I was small.‬‬

‫َّ َ ۡ ُ ّ‬ ‫َ ّٰ ّ‬ ‫َِان َما ََاشک ۡ َوا َب َ ِث ۡ َی َ َ َق َ ُح ۡزن ِ َۡی َ َ َ َِاخی َالل ِہ ََقَ‬ ‫َ َ َ‬ ‫َ َ‬ ‫ّٰ ّ‬ ‫ـ َ﴿﴾‬ ‫َا ۡعل ُم َ َ ِم َن َ َالل َِہ َ َ َما َ َ َلا َ َت ۡعل ُم ۡ َو َ َ‬ ‫)یوسف‪)۱۲:‬‬ ‫‪“I only complain of my grief and‬‬ ‫‪sorrow to Allâh, and I know from‬‬ ‫‪Allâh that which you know not.‬‬

Prayer for Faith in Allah Taa’la

ُ ۡ َّ َ َ ۡ َ َ ّ ّٰ َّ ۡ ۡ ۡ َ َ َ َ‫ہ َتو َکلت‬ َ ِ ‫َ۬ عل َی‬ ‫قَماَتو ِف َی ِق َی َ َِا َلاَبِالل ِہ‬ َ ُ َ ۡ ‫ہ َ َاُن‬ )۱۱:‫یبَ﴿﴾(ھود‬ ِ َ ِ ‫َقَ َِال ۡ َی‬ I only desire reform so far as I am able to do the best in my power. and my guidance cannot come except from Allâh, In Him I trust and unto Him I repent.

ۡ َۡ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ‫َر ِ ّب َاد ِخل ِج ۡی َُمدخل َِصد ٍؼ َّق‬ ّ ۡ ۡ َّ ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ۡ ۡ َ َ‫َاج َعلَخ ِ ۡیَ ِم ۡن‬ ‫ؼ َق‬ َ ٍ ‫ج َ ِصد‬ َ ‫اخ ِرج ِج َی َمخر‬ ۡ َّ ّٰ ۡ ُ َ ۡ ُ َّ )۱۲:‫صیراَ﴿﴾ (بيیاسرائیل‬ ِ ‫لدنکَسلطناَن‬ My Lord! let my entry (to the city of Al-Madinah) be good, and likewise my exit (from the city of Makkah) be good. and grant me from You an authority to help me (or a firm sign 41

‫َ َ ۡ‬ ‫َ َّ َ ّٰ َ م ۡ َّ ُ ۡ َ‬ ‫ن َلد َنک ََر ۡح َمۃَ َ َ ّ َق َ َہ ِ َّحیَ‬ ‫ربناَ َ َاتِنا َ ِ َ‬ ‫ََ ۡ َۡ َ َ َ‬ ‫لناَ ِمن َ َام ِرنا َرشدا َ﴿﴾ (کھف‪)۷۲:‬‬ ‫‪"Our Lord! bestow on us mercy from‬‬ ‫‪Yourself, and facilitate for us our‬‬ ‫"!‪affair In the right way‬‬ ‫‪42‬‬

contentment, and boldness) . "And ease my task for me; "And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Mûsa (Moses) put In his mouth when he was an infant].

‫َ ّٰ َ َّ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ‬ ‫ّ ُ ُ‬ ‫ت ََ ُسب ّٰن َنک َۖ٭َاِن ِ ۡی َ َک ۡنت َ‬ ‫لا َ َاِلہ ََ َاِلا َ َان َ‬ ‫ّٰ ّ ۡ‬ ‫ٔ‬ ‫۬﴾ ۚ(االىبیاء‪)۱۱:‬‬ ‫ِم َنَ الظلِ ِمی َسَ﴿‬ ‫‪46‬‬

Lâ ilâha illa Anta [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allâh)], glorified (and Exalted) are You [above All that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."

"O My Lord! leave me not single (childless), though You are the best of the inheritors."

‫َّ‬ ‫َ َّ َ ّٰ َ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ُسب ّٰن َن َال ِذ ۡی َسخ َر َل َنا َہذا َ َ َ َق َ َماَ‬ ‫َُ َ ۡ ۡ‬ ‫َّ ّٰ‬ ‫ک ّنا َلہ َ َُمق ِرنِی َس َ﴿ۙ﴾ ََق َ َاِنا َ َاِخی َ َ َربِّ َنا َ‬ ‫َ ۡ َ ۡ َ‬ ‫ل ُمنقلِ ُبوـَ﴿﴾ (زخرف‪)۷۴،۷۸:‬‬ ‫‪"Glory to Him who has subjected this‬‬ ‫‪to us, and we could never have it (by‬‬ ‫"‪our efforts).‬‬ ‫‪and verily, to Our Lord we indeed‬‬ ‫‪49‬‬

‫)‪from the whisperings (suggestions‬‬ ‫‪of the Shayâtin (devils).‬‬ ‫‪"And I seek Refuge with You, My‬‬ ‫‪Lord! lest they may attend (or come‬‬ ‫"‪near) me.‬‬

"Our Lord! we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the best of All who show mercy!"

‫ُم ۡستق ّراَق َ ُ‬ ‫مقاماَ﴿﴾(فرقاٌ‪)۲۲،۲۳:‬‬

‫‪"Our Lord! avert from us the torment‬‬ ‫‪of hell. Verily! its torment is ever an‬‬ ‫‪53‬‬

‫"‪inseparable, permanent punishment.‬‬ ‫‪evil indeed it (hell) is as an abode‬‬ ‫‪and as a place to dwell.‬‬

‫اَ‬ ‫ِماماَ﴿﴾ (فرقاٌ‪)۱۴:‬‬ ‫‪"Our Lord! bestow on us from our‬‬ ‫‪wives and our offspring who will be‬‬ ‫‪the comfort of our eyes, and make us‬‬ ‫"‪leaders for the Muttaqûn‬‬

‫َ َّ‬ ‫َ ۡ َ َۡ ُ‬ ‫َر ِ ّب َا ۡق ِزع ِج ۡی ََا ۡـ َاشک ََر ََ ن ِ ۡع َم َتک َال ِت ۡیَ‬ ‫َ َ َ َ ۡ َ‬ ‫َ ۡ َ َ ّٰ‬ ‫ان َع ۡمت ََعد َّی ََق ََعدی ََقال ِد ّی ََقَا ۡـَاع َمل َ‬ ‫‪55‬‬

ۡ ۡ َ ُ ّٰ َ َ َ‫َص ِالحاَت ۡرضىہ ََق َاد ِخل ِج ۡی َبِ َر ۡح َم ِتک‬ َ ۡ ّ ّٰ َ )۷۹:‫ع َبادِؽَالص ِل ِنیسَ﴿﴾) ىنل‬ ِ َ‫ف ِ ۡی‬ "My Lord! inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves."

‫َ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َۡ‬ ‫َر ِ ّب َ َن ِّج ِج ۡ َی َ َ َق َ َاہد ِ َۡی َ َ ِمم ّا َی َ ۡع َمل ۡو َـ َ﴿﴾‬ ‫(شعراء‪)۷۲۹:‬‬

‫‪"My Lord! save me and my family‬‬ ‫"‪from what they do.‬‬

‫َْ ْ َ َ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫َ ْ‬ ‫َر ِ ّب َ َِان ِ َْی َل َ َِمٓا َأن َزلت َ َِاخ َّی َ ِم ْن َخی ٍرَ‬ ‫َ ْ‬ ‫ر﴿﴾ َ(قصص‪)۲۴:‬‬ ‫ف ِق َی ٌَ‬ ‫‪"My Lord! Truly, I am In need of‬‬ ‫‪whatever good that You bestow on‬‬ ‫"!‪me‬‬

‫اےرب! ںیم اُس الھبیئ اکوجوتریمی رطف ابارے‬ ‫اتحمجوہں۔‬

Prayer for Over Powering the Enemy

ۡ ۡ َۡ َ ۡ َ﴾٪﴿َ‫َر ِ ّبَان ُص ۡرن ِ ۡی ََعدیَالق ۡو ِؿَال ُمف ِس ِدیۡ َن‬ )۸۲:‫)عيکبوت‬ "My Lord! give me victory over the people who are Mufsidûn (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts).

‫َ ّٰ ّ ُ َّ َ َ َّ‬ ‫َالس ّٰم ّٰو ِة ََقَالۡاَ ۡ‬ ‫ض َّٰعلِ َم َ‬ ‫ر‬ ‫َاللہمََفا ِطر‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ۡ َ ۡ َ َّ َ َ َ ۡ َ َ ُ ۡ‬ ‫اد ِۃ َ َانت َت ۡحک ُم َبَی َسَ‬ ‫ب َق َالشہ‬ ‫َالغی ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َۡ ُ‬ ‫َ ُ‬ ‫ِع َبادِؽَف ِ ۡی ََماَکان ۡواَ ِف ۡی ِہَیخ َت ِلف ۡو َـَ﴿﴾‬ ‫(زمر‪َ)۴۲:‬‬

‫‪"O Allâh! Creator of the heavens and‬‬ ‫‪the earth! All-Knower of the Ghaib‬‬ ‫‪(unseen) and the seen. You will‬‬ ‫‪judge between Your slaves about that‬‬ ‫"‪wherein they used to differ.‬‬

‫َ ۡ‬ ‫َ ُ َّ َ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َربّ َنا ََق ِس ۡعت َکل َ َش ۡی ٍء َّر ۡح َمۃ ََّق َِعلماَ‬ ‫َّ‬ ‫َّ‬ ‫َ ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫فاغف ِ ۡط َ َل ِل ِذیۡ َن َتاب ُ ۡوا ََق َات َب ُع ۡواَ‬ ‫َ ۡ َ َ َ ۡ َ َ َ ۡ‬ ‫اب َ َالجَ ِح ۡی َِم﴿﴾‬ ‫س ِبیلک ََق َ ِقہِم َ َعذ َ‬ ‫َّ‬ ‫َ ۡ‬ ‫َ ۡ ۡ ُ ّٰ ّ‬ ‫ََ‬ ‫ت َعد ِـِۣ َال ِت ۡیَ‬ ‫َربّنا ََق َاد ِخلہ ۡم ََجن ِ‬ ‫ّٰ‬ ‫َ ۡ َّ ُ‬ ‫ََ‬ ‫َقعدتہ ۡم َََق َ َم ۡن ََصلح َ ِم ۡن َابَٓائِہِ ۡم ََقَ‬ ‫ُ ّٰ‬ ‫َۡ‬ ‫َّ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ‬ ‫اجہِ ۡم َََق َذ ّ ِریّ ِتہِ ۡمَ َاِنکَانتَالش ِزیۡ ُز َ‬ ‫از َق ِ َ‬ ‫‪61‬‬

ّٰ َّ ُ َ ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ‫َالس ِّیا ِةَ َََق َ َم ۡن َت ِق‬ ‫﴿﴾ َق َ ِقہِم‬ ۙ َ‫کیم‬ ِ ‫الح‬ ّٰ َّ ۡ ََ َ‫الس ِّیا ِة َی َ ۡو َم ِئ ٍذ َ َفقد ََر ِح ۡم َتہَ ََق‬ ۡ ُ َ ۡ ُ َ ّٰ )۹-۱:ً‫﴿﴾(مؤم‬ ٪ َ‫ذل ِکَ ہ َوَالف ۡوزَال َع ِظ ۡی ُم‬ Our Lord! You comprehend All things In mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire! "Our Lord! and make them enter the 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting gardens) which You have promised them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their 62

offspring! Verily, You are the AllMighty, the All-Wise. "And

save

them

from

(the

punishment, because of what they did of) the sins, and whomsoever You save from (the punishment, because of what they did of) the sins (i.e. excuse them) that day, him Verily, You have taken into mercy." and that is the supreme success.

َّ َ ۡ ۡ َ َ‫َربّ َنا َ َاغف ِ َۡط َل َنا ََق َل ِ ِاخ َوان ِ َنا َ َال ِذیۡ َن‬ ۡ َ َ ۡ ۡ َُۡ َ َ‫اـ ََق َلا َت ۡج َعل َ َف ِ ۡی‬ ِ ‫س َبقونا َبِال ِای َم‬ ُ ّٰ َ ۡ َّ ّ ّ َ ۡ ُ ُ َ َ ‫ن َ َا َمن ۡوا َ ََربّ َنا‬ َ ‫قلوبِنا َ ِغلا َ َل ِل ِذی‬ َ َّ ٌ ۡ ِ ‫ک ََر ُء ۡق ٌػ َ َّر‬ )۷۲:‫﴾ (حصر‬٪﴿َ‫حیم‬ ‫اِن‬ "Our Lord! forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred

against

those

who

have

believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful. 65

ُ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ َّ

)۳،۴:‫کیمَ﴿﴾ )منتحيۃ‬ ِ ‫اِنکََانتَالش ِزیزَالح‬ " Our Lord! in You (Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn In repentance, and to You (Alone) is (our) final return, "Our Lord! make us not a trial for the disbelievers, and forgive us, Our Lord! Verily, You, Only You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."

Prayer for Guidance (Hiadayat) & Light (Noor(

َ ۡ َۡ َ َ ُ َ ََۚ‫َربّ َنا َات ِم ۡم َ َل َنا َن ۡو َرنا ََق َاغف ِ َۡط َل َنا‬ َ َّ ۡ َ‫ک ََعدّٰیَک ُ ّل ََش ۡیءٍَق‬ )۱:‫دی ٌرَ﴿﴾(تحریه‬ ‫اِن‬ ِ ِ "Our Lord! keep perfect our light for us [and do not put it off till we cross over the Sirât (a slippery bridge over the

hell)

safely] and grant us

‫ۡ ُ ۡ َّ َ ۡ ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫اق َال ِحق ِج ۡیَ‬ ‫َر ِ ّب َہ ۡب َخِی َحکم‬ ‫ّٰ ّ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ ّ ۡ َ َ ۡ‬ ‫اـ َِصد ٍؼَ‬ ‫بِالص ِل ِنیس﴿ۙ﴾ قَاجعلَخِی َل ِس‬ ‫ۡ ّٰ ۡ َ َ ۡ ۡ‬ ‫َ َ‬ ‫اج َعل ِج ۡی ََ ِم ۡن َّق َرث ِۃ َ‬ ‫فِیَالا ِخ ِرین َ﴿ۙ﴾ َق َ‬ ‫َج َّن َّ ۡ‬ ‫ۃَالن ِعی ِمَ﴿ۙ﴾(شعراء‪)۱۳-۱۸:‬‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫‪69‬‬

My Lord! bestow Hukman (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous;and grant me an honourable mention in later generations; and make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight; and disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected;

Prayer on the Occasion of any Loss

َّ َّ ُ َ َّ َ َ‫ؿ لا‬ َ ٍ ‫اس َل َِی ۡو‬ َ ِ ‫الن‬ َ‫ؿ‬ َ ‫ام‬ َ ‫َربّ َناَ اِن‬ ِ ‫ک َ َج‬ ُ ُۡ َ ّ ّٰ َ َ‫ہ۬ ا ِّـ َالل َہ َ َلایخلِف‬ َِ ‫َر َیۡ َب َ ِف ۡی‬ ۡ )۹:ٌ‫﴿﴾ ) العنرا‬ ٪ َ ‫اد‬ ََ ‫ال ِم ۡی َع‬ Our Lord! Verily, it is You who will gather mankind together on the Day about which there is no doubt. Verily, Allâh Taa’la never breaks his promise".

‫ہارےرپورداگر!ےبہبشوتولوگںوکایدمسج‬ 72

‫ےکآےنںیموکیئکشوہبشںیہن‪،‬رضورعمجرکےاگ‪،‬‬ ‫ےبہبشاہللاعتیلٰودعہےکالخفںیہنرکبا۔‬ ‫(‪ )54‬اامیمواولںیکداع‬

‫َ‬ ‫َ ۡ‬ ‫ّٰ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َربّ َناَ َا َم ّنا َفاؼ ُت ۡب َنا َ َمؿَ‬ ‫ّٰ ّ‬ ‫َ َ ُۡ‬ ‫ّٰ ّ‬ ‫ن﴿﴾ َ َق َماَل َنا ََ لاَنؤ ِم ُن َ َبِالل ِہَ َ‬ ‫الش ِہ ِدیۡ َ َ‬ ‫َ َ َ َ َ م َن ۡ َ ّ َ َ ۡ َ ُ َ ۡ ُ ۡ‬ ‫ـ َیّدَ‬ ‫َق ماَجٓاءناَ ِ َالح ِقَۙ ََق نطمؿَا َ‬ ‫َ َ َ ُّ َ َ َ‬ ‫ؿ َ ال ۡ َق ۡوؿ ّٰ ّ ۡ َ‬ ‫َالص ِل ِنیس َ﴿﴾‬ ‫ِخلناَربناَم‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫)مائدۃ‪)۱۴،۱۸:‬‬ ‫‪"Our Lord! we believe; so write us‬‬ ‫‪down among the witnesses.‬‬ ‫‪73‬‬

"And why should we not believe in Allâh and in that which has come to us of the truth (Islâmic Monotheism)? and we wish that Our Lord will admit us(in

Paradise

on

the

Resurrection)along righteous

people

Day with

of the

(Prophet

Muhammad and his Companions).

Prayer of People of Araaf

ۡ َ َ َۡ َ َ َ ‫َربّ َنا َلا َت ۡج َعل َنا ََمؿ َالق ۡو ِؿ‬ َ ۡ ّ ّٰ )۴۱:‫﴾ (اعراف‬٪﴿َ ‫الظلِ ِمیس‬ "Our Lord! place us not with the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers)."

Prayer for Blessing (Rehmat) and Salvation

ۡ َ َ ُ َ َ َۡ ۡ ‫اغف ۡط َل َ َنا ََق‬ َ ‫َار َح ۡم َنا َََق‬ ِ ‫انت َقل ِّینا َف‬ ّٰ ۡ ۡ َ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ َ‫ت َخی َُر َالغفِطِیۡ َن َ﴿﴾ َق َاؼ ُت ۡب َل َنا‬ َ ‫ان‬ ّٰ ۡ َ ۡ ُّ ّٰ َ َ‫ف ِ ۡی َہ ِذ َِف َالدن َیا َ َح َس َنۃَ َ ّ َق َفِیَالا ِخ َر ِۃ‬ َ َ َ ۡ ُ َّ َ )۷۳۲،۷۳۳:‫ک﴿﴾ (اعراف‬ َ ‫اِناَہدناَ َََ اِل ۡی‬ You are Our Walî (Protector), so forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the best of those who forgive. and ordain for us good in 76

‫‪this world, and in the hereafter.‬‬ ‫‪Certainly we have turned unto You.‬‬

‫‪brother, and make us enter into Your‬‬ ‫‪mercy, for You are the most merciful‬‬ ‫"‪of those who show mercy.‬‬

‫اےرب! اعمف رکھجم وکاورریمےاھبیئ وکاورمہ‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ےلےلاوروتس ےسزبادہ ر م‬ ‫وکاینپ رتمح ںیم‬ ‫رکےن واالےہ۔‬ ‫(‪ )58‬رضحتومیسٰہیلعاالسللیکفرامربنداروقلیکداع‬

‫‪Hazrat Musa ‘alaihi Salam’s‬‬ ‫‪Righteous Peoples Prayer‬‬

‫َ َ َ ۡ‬ ‫َ ّٰ ّ َ َّ ۡ‬ ‫َعدی َالل ِہ َت َوکل َناَۚ ََربّ َنا َلا َت ۡج َعل َناَ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ّٰ ّ ۡ‬ ‫َّۡ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ِفت َنۃ َ َ َل ِلق ۡو ِؿ َالظلِ ِمی َس َ﴿ۙ﴾ ََق َن ِّج َناَ‬ ‫ّٰ‬ ‫َۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ن﴿﴾‬ ‫بِ َر ۡح َم ِتک َ ِم َن َالق ۡو ِؿ َاـۡؽفِطِیۡ َ َ‬ ‫‪78‬‬

)۱۲،۱۳:‫(یوىس‬ "In Allâh we put our trust. Our Lord! make us not a trial for the folk who are Zâlimûn. "And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving folk."

‫اےربہارےمہرپاساظملوقل‬،‫مہاہللرپرھبوہسایک‬ ‫اکزورہن آزام اوربرہبباین فرامرکام اکفروں ےسمہ وک‬ ‫ڑھچادے۔‬ ‫) رفغمتورتمحیکداع‬59(

Prayer for Blessing and Forgiveness

ۡ َ َ ََ َ َ َ ُ ُ َ ّ َ‫َر ِ ّبَاِن ِ ۡیََاع ۡوذَبِکَا ۡـَا ۡسـلک ََماَلـی َس‬ 79

‫ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َّ َ ۡ‬ ‫خ ِ ۡی َبِہ َِعل ٌمَ ََق َاِلا َتغف ِ َۡط َخ ِ ۡی ََق َت ۡر َح ۡم ِج ۡیَ َ‬ ‫َ ُ ۡ ّ َ ۡ ّٰ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ی‬ ‫ن َ ِمن َالخ ِص ِر َ﴿﴾ )هود‪َ)76:‬‬ ‫اؼ َ‬ ‫‪"O My Lord! I seek refuge with‬‬ ‫‪You from asking You that of‬‬ ‫‪which I have no knowledge. and‬‬ ‫‪unless You forgive me and have‬‬ ‫‪mercy on me, I would indeed be‬‬ ‫"‪one of the losers.‬‬

‫اےرب ںیم ریتی انپہ اتیلوہں ہک ںیم ھجت ےسوپوھچں‬ ‫ایسی ببات ہک سج اکھجم وکملع ہن وہاورارگوتھجم وکہن‬ ‫ےشخباورر مہنفرامےئوتںیماصقنمواولںںیموہںاگ۔‬

‫‪Prayer when Disembarking‬‬

‫َۡ ۡ‬ ‫ۡ ُ ّٰ َ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ‬ ‫َر ِ ّبَان ِزل ِج ۡی َُمن َزلا َّمب َرکا َّقَانتَخی ُرَ‬ ‫ال ۡ ُمنۡزل ِیۡ َ‬ ‫سَ﴿﴾ (مؤميوٌ‪َ)۲۹:‬‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫‪"My Lord! cause me to land at a‬‬ ‫‪blessed landing-place, for You‬‬ ‫‪are the best of those who bring to‬‬ ‫"‪land.‬‬

‫ب‬ ‫رکوجیرتکواالوہ‪،‬اور‬ ‫بارب!ےھجمااسیاُباربابیصن‬ ‫وترتہبنی ابارےنواالےہ۔‬

Prayer for Protection at the Time when Allah Taa’la‘s Punishment descends on the Oppressor (Zaalimoon)

ۡ ََۡ ََ ّ

َۡ

﴾﴿‫س‬ َ ‫ب فلاتجعل ِج ۡیََفِیَالق ۡو ِؿَالظلِ ِمی‬ َ ِ ‫َر‬

َ )۹۴:ٌ‫(مؤميو‬

"My Lord! Then (save me from Your punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zâlimûn."

Allah Taa’la’ Righteous Folks Prayers

َّ َ َ َّ َ ۡ ۡ َ َّ َ َ ‫اَع َذ‬ َ‫اب ََج َہن َم َۖ٭َا ِّـ‬ ‫ربناَاص ِرػ َعن‬ َ َ َ ََ َ َ ۡ َ َ َ َّ َ‫ٓاءة‬ ‫اـ َغ َراما َ﴿﴾ۖ٭ اِنہا َس‬ ‫عذابہا َک‬ َ َ

َ َ

َ)۲۲،۲۳:ٌ‫ُم ۡستق ّرا َّق َ ُمقاماَ﴿﴾ (فرقا‬ "Our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell.

‫اےہارےرب!اٹہدےمہےسدوزخےکذعاب‬ 83

‫َ َّ‬ ‫َ ّ َّ َ‬ ‫َ ۡ ۡ‬ ‫۬ فاف َتح َب َ ۡی ِج ۡیَ‬ ‫ِـ َََ ق ۡو ِم َۡی َکذب ُ ۡو ِـ َۚ﴿﴾‬ ‫ر ِب َا َ‬ ‫َ َ ۡ َ ُ ۡ َ ۡ َّ َ ّ ۡ َ َم ۡن َّ‬ ‫ََم ِع َی َ ِم َنَ‬ ‫ق َبینہم َفتناَق َن ِج ِجی َق َ‬ ‫ۡ ۡ‬ ‫ۡ َ‬ ‫ال ُمؤ ِم ِنیسَ﴿﴾ (شعراء‪)۷۷۱،۷۷۱:‬‬ ‫‪"My Lord! Verily, my people have‬‬ ‫‪belied me.‬‬ ‫‪Therefore judge You between me‬‬ ‫‪and them, and save me and those of‬‬ ‫‪84‬‬

‫َ ۡ‬ ‫ّ َ َ ُ َۡ‬ ‫َر ِ ّب َاِن ِ ۡی َظل ۡمت َنف ِس ۡی َفاغف ِ َۡط َخ ِ ۡی َ﴿﴾‬ ‫(قصص‪)۷۲:‬‬ ‫‪"My Lord! Verily, I have wronged‬‬ ‫‪myself, so forgive me." (Then He‬‬ ‫‪forgave him).‬‬

‫ۡ‬ ‫َ ۡ‬ ‫ۡ ُ‬ ‫ّٰ ّ‬ ‫ف ُسب ّٰن َن َالل ِہ َ َِحی َس َت ۡم ُس ۡو َـ ََق َِحی َسَ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َّ‬ ‫َ ۡ ُ‬ ‫یَالس ّٰم ّٰو ِة ََقَ‬ ‫ـ َ﴿﴾ ََق َل ُہ َالحَ ۡمد َِف‬ ‫ت ۡص ِبنُ ۡو َ َ‬ ‫َ ۡ ُۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫الۡاَ ۡ‬ ‫ـ َ﴿﴾‬ ‫ض ََقَع ِش ّیا ّ ََق َ ِحی َسََتظ ِػ ُر ۡق َ َ‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ُۡ‬ ‫َ َ‬ ‫ُۡ ُ‬ ‫ت ََق َیخ ِر ُجَ‬ ‫یخ ِرج َ َالح ّ َی ِم َن َال َم ِّی ِ‬ ‫ۡ َۡ َ‬ ‫َۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ۡ َ‬ ‫ال َم ِّیت َ ِم َن َالح ِّی َََق َیُح ِی َالا ۡرض َب َ ۡعدَ‬ ‫َ ّٰ َ ُ ۡ‬ ‫ـ﴿‪﴾٪‬‬ ‫َم ۡوتِ َہاَ َََق َؾذل ِک َتخ َر ُج ۡو َ َ‬ ‫‪86‬‬

)۷۹-۷۱:‫(روو‬ So glorify Allâh [above All that (evil) they associate with Him (O believers)], when you come up to the evening [i.e. offer the (Maghrib) sunset and ('Ishâ') night prayers], and when you enter the morning [i.e offer the (Fajr) morning prayer]. and His is all the praises and thanks In the heavens and the earth, and (glorify Him) In the afternoon (i.e. offer 'Asr prayer) and when you come up to the time, when the day begins to decline (i.e offer Zuhr prayer). (Ibn 'Abbâs said: "These are the five compulsory congregational 87

‫"‪prayers mentioned In the Qur'ân).‬‬ ‫‪He brings out the living from the‬‬ ‫‪dead, and brings out the dead from‬‬ ‫‪the living. and He revives the earth‬‬ ‫‪after its death. and Thus shall you be‬‬ ‫‪brought out (resurrected).‬‬

‫ۡ‬ ‫َ َ‬ ‫َ َ‬ ‫َر ِ ّب َاغف ِ ۡط َخ ِ ۡی َََق َل َِوال ِد ّی َََق َل َِم ۡن ََدخلَ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫َ ۡ ۡ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ب َ ۡی ِت َیَ َُمؤ ِمنا َّقَل ِل ُمؤ ِم ِنی َس ََقَ‬ ‫‪89‬‬

‫ۡ ۡ ّٰ‬

‫تَ﴿‪) ﴾٪‬ىوح‪)۲۱:‬‬ ‫ال ُمؤ ِمن ِ‬ ‫‪"My Lord! forgive me, and my‬‬ ‫‪parents, and him who enters my‬‬ ‫‪home as a believer, and all the‬‬ ‫‪believing men and women.‬‬

‫ُ ۡ ّٰ َ َ ّٰ ّ ُ َّ َ َ َّ ُ ُ ۡ ۡ َ َ ّٰ‬ ‫ٌ‬ ‫سبننکَاللہمَقَت ِحیتہمَ ِفیہاَسلمََۚ‬ ‫‪90‬‬

ّ ّٰ ُ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ّٰ ۡ َ ُ ّٰ َ َ‫ب‬ َ ّ ِ ‫ـ َ َالحَ ۡمد َ َلِل َِہ َ َ َر‬ َ ِ ‫َق َا ِخر َ َدعوىہم َا‬ َ ۡ َ ّٰ ۡ )۷۲:‫﴾ (یوىس‬٪﴿َ‫العل ِمیس‬ Subhânaka Allâhumma (Glory to you, O Allâh!) and Salâm (peace, safe from each and every evil) will be their greetings therein (Paradise)! and the close of their request will be: Al-Hamdu Lillâhi Rabbil-'Alamîn [all the praises and thanks are to Allâh, the Lord of 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists)].

Prayer at the End of Salat

َّ َ َ ۡ ّ َ َ ّ َ َ ّٰ ۡ ُ ُ َ﴾﴿َ‫ب َال ِش ّز َِۃ َعما َی َ ِصف ۡو َـ‬ َ ِ ‫ن َربِکَر‬ َ ‫سبن‬ ۡ َ ٌ ّٰ َ َ ۡ ّ ّٰ ُ ۡ َ ‫م َ َعدی َال ُس ۡر َسلِی َسَ﴿﴾َ َقَالحَ ۡم َد َلِل َِہ‬ َ ‫ق َسل‬ ۡ َ ۡ )۷۱۲-۷۱۲:‫﴿﴾ (الصفت‬ َ ٪ ‫َر ِ ّبَال ّٰعل ِمی َس‬ Glorified be Your Lord, the Lord of honour and power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! and peace be on the messengers! and All the praise and thanks be to Allâh, Lord of 92

"And from the evil of the witchcrafts when they blow in the knots, "And from the evil of the envier when he envies."

say: "I seek Refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of mankind, "The King of mankind,

mankind, "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering In one's heart after one remembers Allâh), "Who whispers in the breasts of mankind, "Of jinns and men."
