Dragon's Den Final Project Guidelines "Congratulations! Your team has made it through the application process for CBC's Dragon's Den! Your innovative product finally has a chance at gaining some momentum through the Dragon's support. Good luck, you've worked hard for this opportunity." In teams of three or on your own, you must design a ground-breaking product to pitch to the Dragons. PART A: Planning Use the graphic organizers to plan out your company name, product name, product design/description, target audience, company/product logo, and slogan/catchphrase. You must design your own product or provide a makeover of an existing product - What is out there already that could be improved? You must create the product or provide a visually appealing diagram of your product. PART B: The Pitch Plan for and write a persuasive piece to sell your product to the Dragons. You will create a video to present to the Dragons. You must produce a script for your video. Your pitch will NEED: Introduction - Hook! What is your purpose? Back Story - How did this idea come about? What are some of the challenges your team has faced? An Offer…”We are asking for 10% in return for 50,000 dollars” Statistics on the product and on your success selling the product so far. Demonstration or Viewing of the Product Conclusion - Wrap Up - Last chance to persuade the Dragons that your product is worth the investment. PART C: Presenting to the Dragons You will be marked on your ability to create a persuasive pitch to the Dragons on your product.
