Mini Bio Of Dr. Martin Luther King 

Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia.



His father was a pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta.



His mother was a schoolteacher.



At 6:01 p.m. on April 4, 1968, he was assassinated.

Character Traits 

Dr.Martin is a hard working person for people’s rights.



He wants black American people happy.



He doesn’t give up easily.



Loves peace.

The Conflict 

Black American people didn’t have equal rights as the white Americans have. Black people can’t go to nice hotel. He was very angry when he wanted to go somewhere but it says “White people only!" It was called the civil right movement.

Resolution 

Dr. Martin Luther King’s efforts led to the 1963 March on Washington, where King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech. He had made marches. Because of his effort, in 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to end the conflict.
