The coming of Christ will not take place in phases or stages separated by several years. Such a concept is nonsensical language, interjects a third coming of Christ in violation of Hebrews 9:28 and denies what the angels promised in Acts 1:11. Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. 2. A person does not always know what spirit they speak with. A person cannot know the times or seasons which the Father has reserved unto Himself. Acts 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 7. A person does not always know how to pray. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 8. A person cannot know when the Lord will come to judge His church.

A person can presume to know the direction of the kingdom of heaven and spiritual realities only to be sadly mistaken. Matthew 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. ~*~ What a Person can Pretend Not to Know 1. A person can pretend not to know Christ while be intimately acquainted with Him. Matthew 26:70 But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.
