About DIT Vigilance Vigilance Unit, Department of Information Technology is the nodal section for handling all vigilance matters of the DIT and the societies, public sector undertakings under its administrative control. This unit is headed by a Joint Secretary who has also been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer, DIT. He is assisted by Assistant Vigilance Officer. Besides vigilance set up in the DIT, each subordinate office, society and PSU has vigilance set up in their respective organisations who work in close coordination with the Vigilance Unit of the Department. Vigilance Unit of this Department arranges vigilance seminars/ training programmes in the offices under the administrative control of this Department, situated in various parts of the country. These programmes are arranged for the benefit of all concerned. At these meets besides vigilance functionaries, other officers/staff of these units are also invited to create vigilance awareness amongst all.
