Coach Cutelli’s Comments: As Coach Dee used to say “you control what you give, not what you get.” We gave 110 percent this year. Maggie and Laura by the end of the season you were both running close to 30 miles a week. Compared to what you were running last year that is unbelievable. Laura you consistently have been breaking 22 minutes and that is great place to start for next year. Maggie we have finally rid ourselves of those sore shins and you are consistently breaking 23 minutes. I am really excited to see how both of you perform in the years to come. Get excited for sectionals. Aimee Epps is running 23 minute 5Ks and due to injury she barely trained this season. The only place for her to go is up. Molly had a great race even though she was flying solo. I have high hopes for both of them in the future. Even though we did not make it through as a team we got 4 individuals through. That is more than any other group that did not get their team through. I think that is a tribute to how strong of a team we have. Natalie had a beautiful run. She looks better every race. Laura Michel continues to PR. Claire is consistently breaking 21 minutes and I think she is going to have a great race at sectionals. I also have a feeling that the curse of the 21:00 will be lifted at JB for Grace. We all know what we have to do this weekend at Jefferson Barracks.
