Adaptations—BODY PARTS or BEHAVIORS that help an organism to survive! o Give examples of physical/structural adaptations (body parts) that might help an organism to survive in each biome (SEE NOTES!) o Give examples of behavioral adaptations (migration, hibernation, playing dead, etc) that might help an organism to survive in each biome (SEE NOTES!) District Assessment TEST (11/10/09) You will need to know ALL of the information included on the Friday Quiz PLUS: 1. The steps of the scientific process/Scientific Process Chant o Review variables and controls—(See Reading passage clipped into NOTES!) a. Only change ONE variable at a time! b. Controls are things that you keep the same o Review TESTABLE QUESTIONS: o Must be measurable, testable, specific, NO OPINIONS! 2. Review scientific tools—NAMES, and USES o Review how to read a graduated cylinder, metric ruler, triple beam balance, and thermometer 3.
