Sick days can make your blood sugar hard to control. Colds and other illnesses put stress on the body and can cause your blood sugar to rise. Symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea and signs of dehydration (dry tongue & skin, reduced urine output) can be especially serious.
2. Check your blood sugar level
